this reacher is very long and works well. what is even better is it folds up in 3 pieces and has a hook& loop band to hold it all together, total folded is 15 inches. total is 42 inches.

This cane has been immensely useful! I recently became disabled and, although, I had a short grabber, this one helped me to take down hand-held shower nozzle 3ft plus so I can self-shower.I also like the magnetic feature: I've dropped several small items that were easily retrieved. I'll buy another one if this ever becomes inoperable.

I actually bought this thinking it locked at each joint in any position. So it wasn't what I was looking for. Idid try it out, but I'm just to small. I was going to return it but it's really nice so I decided to give it to my Dad. He's using it for all kinds of stuff.
