got this for wooden stairgate, lovely.

Seems like a good quality latch. Fitted to our garden gate and looks like it will keep the gate closed and therefore the sheep out! Arrived within 3 days which is very good for our area.

Just got a garden gate put on and for whatever reason the gate latch stopped working so the post man was always leaving my gate open.Ordered this and it came the next day. It was easy to put together and works as you would expect.The reason for 4 stars is the screws supplied are trash. After the post man came he must have let my gate slam over and the screws that where holding the pin came out. Iv popped 2 inch wood screws in and it seems solid now so if you do buy this make sure to have other screws ready.

Used this to replace the bolt on my garden gate as was getting fed up with ripping skin off my fingers. It feels sturdy, the attached screws are of good quality and when affixed to the gate it closes with a satisfying click. Will see how it lasts the winter but so far I am impressed for such a cheap price - wish I had installed this sooner.

Good product, delivery left a lot to be desired.

I bought this to replace a broken latch on the gate. I didn't use the supplied screws, opting instead for longer ones.It will obviously not stand up to a huge amount of abuse but looks sturdy enough to survive the delivery people who try to kick the gate open instead of reaching over to unlatch it.

A decent latch, easy to install, should last a year or two, as it was used to replace a one that looked the same and lasted a couple of years before rusting out

Not very heavy duty but perfect for my situation.

Die ersten 6 Monate funktionierte der Torriegel gut. Allerdings läßt die Funktion mit der Zeit nach. Was mir gefallen hat und mich zum Kauf bewogen hatte; man kann die Gartentür zuziehen ohne den Türriegel betätigen zu müssen...so konnte ich bei vollen Händen, die Gartentür mit dem Fuß schließen. Doch diese Funktion hat bei meinem Schloß nach 6 Monate nicht mehr funktioniert, jetzt muss ich sowohl beim öffnen als auch beim schließen, den Riegel bestätigen. Somit fällt ein klarer Vorteil weg...aber da der Preis so gering ist, werde ich noch einen Versuch wagen und nochmal bestellen.

Schließt gut ist aber für den Aussenbereich nur bedingt geeignet.Wir haben mehrere dieser Tor Riegel im Einsatz um die Gartentore 'hundesicher" zu machen.Die Funktion ist top.Nur ist das Problem, dass der Lack sich durch die mechanische Beanspruchungen löst und dann der Rost auftaucht.....Mal sehen wie lange die Teile durchhalten.....
