I like that this clock makes no sound. It's easy to read at a distance and has a second hand. It's exactly what I wanted.

This is a good solid "analog" alarm clock. It is nice and big. The design will fit in with most decor. The alarm starts off quiet and progressively gets louder if you don't turn it off. So far it seems to be keeping accurate time. Of course dealing with dials of an analog clock, you won't get ultimate precision. The main gripe I have has to do with the battery. First, it is really hard to get the battery OUT of the compartment. The compartment is a bit deeper than most and the battery sits in there very snuggly. The only way I could get the battery out was with a small flat screwdriver or knife and gently pry it out. I couldn't grab it with my fingers because it sits inside so deeply and snuggly. But the biggest issue I have is that the instructions state to not use rechargeable batteries inside the clock. WHAT??? I haven't purchased disposable batteries in YEARS. So now I have a choice to make: stick with the rechargeable ones and risk shortening the life of the clock. Or not use the clock. I'll risk it because I'm not going to start buying disposable batteries to run a nice but inexpensive alarm clock. So it's not a deal breaker, just be forewarned.

Easy to set up. Clock face is clear and alarms are easy. Probably designed for the bedside but works great on my Family Desk.

This delightfully utilitarian alarm clock does everything you need an alarm clock to do and absolutely nothing you don't. As the description promises, it's genuinely silent, and it is exquisitely simple to use--one knob sets the time; the other sets the alarm; and that's all there is to it. Runs on a single battery.The silence and simplicity of this little alarm clock make it perfect for guest rooms. There's nothing worse than having to learn how to use your host's electronics, except perhaps being kept up by those same cursed electronics. This thing is so simple that it you can tell how to set it by looking at it. It emits no unwanted light, so it won't bug sensitive sleepers, and it doesn't tic. We're big fans of analog battery-operated clocks due to the EMF factor, but unfortunately the alarm on this little fella just isn't loud enough for us!This is very easy to use, but if you're looking for an alarm with a decent volume, unfortunately this is not for you.
