Hilda and the Black Hound (Hildafolk Comics): 4

Bought for my 6 year old who is an avid reader. He’ll sit and read this over the space if an hour. Giving it 5 stars from him because he enjoyed it and 5 stars from me for the hour’s peace I got.

My son loves this book series and says he can't wait for the 6th instalment because he heard the 5th one has a cliff hanger ending.This particular book was apparently so good he couldn't stop reading til he got to the end.

kids like it and a bit of magic that's takes it beyond the usual generic kids book, makes it enjoyable for everyone.

I ordered this for a friend, expecting it to be a simple paperback comic, but when it arrived, it was so gorgeous in texture and print and paper quality that I've decided I have to get one for myself too! 100% value for money, please support this comic

Love!I came across Hilda and the Troll, whilst searching for some new Graphic Novels and yup I'm certainly no child, but you don't have to be to enjoy the Hilda series - this is even better than the last - cute, funny and entertaining, hope you enjoy it as much as I!

Another great by Luke and Hilda. This has the same other-worldly feel as their previous outings with monsters and spirits, real and imagined, and Hilda's attempts to fit in with the more everyday world. Fortunately she lives more on the edge of the mundane reality of town life. My 7 year old daughter is wearing out the current books with re-reading so hopefully there are more stories to come soon.

My two sons (7&10) started reading these last year and LOVE them. We’ve now got our neighbours daughter hooked on them too.

Even better than the excellent Bird Parade. Wonderful story and art that's truly cross-generational in its appeal. Bought it for my 7 year old daughter, who is already a fan of the other books, but I like it as much as she does. Can't recommend this highly enough.
