I’ve been using this Mandoline Slicer for a little while now, and it’s honestly made my kitchen prep so much easier. First off, the safety aspect is brilliant. The hidden blade means I don’t have to worry about cutting my fingers when changing cutting modes. The larger feeding spout and safety pusher add another layer of protection, which I really appreciate.The slicer’s multifunctionality is a huge plus. It’s amazing how it adapts to different cuts like julienne, matchstick, slicing, and dicing. Adjusting the thickness is super easy too, whether I want thin cucumber slices or thicker pieces for fries. This versatility has opened up a lot of options for my cooking.The materials feel really durable. The stainless steel blades are incredibly sharp, and the high-quality PP construction gives it a sturdy, safe feel. The addition of a collection container is quite handy, catching everything I slice or dice. I also like the non-slip suction cup design on the bottom; it adds a sense of security while using it.Cleaning this tool is a breeze. It’s easy to wash by hand, and the small brush is great for getting into those hard-to-reach spots. Plus, being dishwasher safe is a big win for me. Storage is also convenient, as it folds down to a compact size, fitting easily into my kitchen.My only slight critique would be on the suction cup’s strength. It’s good, but making it a bit stronger would ensure more stability on various surfaces.All in all, this Mandoline Slicer is a valuable addition to any kitchen, making veggie prep safer, quicker, and more enjoyable. Sharp and Durable.I love making sliced potato hash browns and thin shredded veggies for my salads. This is a great slicer, It's made of plastic, but is strong and durable and quite comfortable to use. It has rubber suction cups on the bottom that keeps it sturdy while slicing. I like the safety handle. The blade is completely covered so it is safe to use. No more scraped knuckles!!The instructions leave a lot to be desired, but if you play with it, you can figure out what it does. It has a dial that adjusts the thickness of the blade for slicing which is easy to figure out. I like my potatoes very thin, so it works great for that. There are also two red handles that adjust the type of slicing it does from Julianne to french fry slices. I could not get the setting on french fry slices and I tried every setting. It does julianne for thin shreds though that was a bit hard to get working. The instructions don't explain how to use that part, so I had to figure it out on my own by pushing down the top handle so I could see the blade and then lifting the red handles to turn them. You can then see how the blade changes while dialing them in. I found the blade to be quite sharp for cutting and very convenient in that there is no need to change the blades. I tried using this with potatoes, which is a hard veggie. It was at THAT point that I could tell this was made of plastic as it fell apart at one point while I was slicing. The shoot, where the food goes into fell off and the whole thing fell over. I thought I broke it, but I was able to pop the food shoot back on.I would use this again though and will find this to be be very helpful around my kitchen.

The older I get, the more important my diet has become. Therefore, lately, I have started adding salads, to my meals. However, putting them together has been a real pain, due to having to prepare, and cut, all of the various vegetables, like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, onions, radishes, etc. Therefore, in an effort to save prep time, when the opportunity presented itself, for me to get this MASTERTOP mandolin food slicer, I did not hesitate. It slices, dices, and Juliennes, at 8 various desired thicknesses. It is made of high quality BPA-free plastic, and has heavy duty stainless steel blades. I am impressed that safety seems top of mind, as there's no need to touch the blade, in order to change one of the 4 cutting modes. There is also a large feeding spout, a locking pushing handle, and comes with a safety pusher, which keeps pressure on the item being cut, without worry of slicing your fingers. Additionally, it has a non-slip bottom, for greater safety and stability. Assembly is quick and easy. And, this dishwasher safe, multifunction slicer is very simple to use. Lastly, once disassembled, it folds, and locks, in order to save space, while waiting for the next use.

The MASTERTOP Mandoline Food Slicer for Kitchen looked so neat! Your hand doesn't need to go anywhere near the blade to operate bur I found that I had to quarter onions and beefsteak tomatoes just to get it to fit. While I like the idea of this kitchen tool to make cutting quicker and more uniform its just too small and really only works well for thinner veggies like carrots and cucumbers without needing to be cut to smaller sizes. Clean up is super easy though. I just took it apart, gave it a rinse for any big chunks left on it and tossed it in the dishwasher on the top rack.
