Good strong pieces of timber and really sturdy when screwed up, all the holes are pre drilled which is handy.Although the holes are pre drilled the wood on the undrilled side is rather hard and would benefit from a pre drill with a small drill bit to make it easier to screw up, even my electric screw driver struggled with this part and I had to finish off by hand. Overall a good buy though.

I ordered this bench for general DIY jobs in my own garage. It was delivered without any marks to any of the packaging, and all component parts were listed clearly. It was easy to assemble thanks to the step-by-step photographic instructions, and all of the fixings were up to the job and more. Pre-drilled holes meant the assembly time was greatly reduced, and once put together the bench felt as solid as a rock. The heavy duty plywood top should last for years, and the pre-treated timber is a real bonus. When assembled, it's definitely a two-person lift when you're of a certain age like me!I think that this bench is excellent value for money. Well done MC Timber Products!

Although I feel the bench is a good one, it didn't quite fit together well, some bits of wood were to long and didn't butt up to well, but overall a good bench. Unfortunately it took to long to arrive, the first date they gave me it didn't arrive at all, the second only the legs arrived and finally the rest of it came. This took about a week or so. They said it was the couriers fault and would not give any compensation for the mistake. Take this as you like, but not very helpful.

Just what my husband wanted for his new shed. Took 2 of us to assemble but sturdy when in place. Only issue is the top wood has started to lift and split, but he can still use it, just doesn't look as good after a couple of months.

Arrived in good time, the top of the bench has a split in one corner, nothing I would send it back for, but never the less it shouldn’t be there. The instructions for assembly are for a 6 legged bench with slats as a bottom shelf, not for the model that I bought. It’s just as well I know what I’m doing :)

This is a fantastic work bench.I love it !However, the most important thing from my perspective, was the incredible customer service.Absolutely superb !A couple of parts were missing (inevitable with a global distribution network) but MC sorted it out quickly with kindness and good humour.I would recommend this company to everyone.First class !

Whilst the product is made well , it comes without any fixings or instructions. While that for me was not a problem as a carpenter others may find this a little trying hence the four star review on assembly. The timbers whilst nicely treated and cut to length well do not have pre drilled holes for fixing , and the top could do with being a little thicker ply. Another £5- £6 on the purchase price to cover the bolts required would not have prevented my purchase.

This product is fairly sturdy but I would only recommend for light to moderate work. It was reasonably easy to assemble, but two people would have been much easier. Overall good value for money.
