If you make entire kitchens on a regular basis you need this machine!
This product is awesome. Instead of taking 10 minutes to drill pocket holes on my face frames and the sides of the cabinets I can now do an entire cabinet in about 2 minutes. What use to take 2 hours (or more) to do an entire kitchen (15 or so cabinets) now takes about 15 minutes. That's a huge time saver! The only thing I don't like is how long it takes to change from 3/4" material to 1/2" (I use 1/2" plywood for my box sides and 3/4" for the face frames). Switching back and forth is kind of like taking the time to swap out a stack dado blade on the table saw. The solution to that problem only required purchasing another unit and setting one up for 3/4" and the other for 1/2". Some might think that is quite an expense but it is the same as dedicating my second table saw to the dado blade. I can now breeze through each step without stopping to change any setup saving a huge amount of time on an entire kitchen. Now, if I only had $2000.00 for a boring machine so I can get through the adjustable shelf pin holes in the same efficient manner (next purchase). One reviewer complained about the difficulty of getting the unit out of the box; not sure why he had so much trouble. I just cut the tape, folded the flaps down, turned the box upside down and lifted the box off-easy peasy. He also complained about how poorly the manual was written and how difficult the initial setup was. Again, not sure why he had so much trouble as I found the manual was quite well written and easy to follow and the setup took about 15-20 minutes. If you are just making single pieces of furniture or the occasional cabinet then this machine would definitely be overkill but if you are a production shop making 2-3 kitchens a month, this tool is indispensable and will save you huge amounts of time on payroll. At $20/hour for skilled labor, you can expect for this tool to pay for itself in 3-4 months. I cannot speak to how long it will last before I kill it from constant use but it is warranted for a year so even if I have to send it back for warranty service every year it is still a money saver.

I should have purchased this 6 months ago
I had just started an at home small custom Woodworking business and pocket screws are my go to fastening method. Over the past 3 months I have made over 30 corn hole boards, which each set I put 48 pocket holes in to attach the frame together and the frame to the top. It would typically take me half an hour drill all of the holes for 1 set. With this machine, I was able to do 6 sets in 45 minutes, and that included the time to change the spring stops. This machine is a great tool for anyone who uses pocket screws! After boring over 250 holes in less than an hour, all of the holes were consistent, clean, and it was all done pain free. No straining of the shoulders or arms with this! The initial setup, out of the box, took about 20 minutes to hookup the dust hose, put it in place on my work table and screw it down. Setups of the spring stops took about 5 minutes each time to get them located right, but once they were tight they were so easy to use to bore my holes. For the price and ease of this machine, any woodworker should have this in their workshop. The only thing you will regret is not purchasing it sooner!

Best Tool Ever
I am already a big Kreg fan, so I had high expectations. I'm no professional, but I do a good bit of home projects. This was a bit of an investment for me, so I really needed/wanted it to work... and it delivered. Thank you to Kreg for such awesome products. It just works and it does so consistently. It's so much faster than the Kreg Jig (although I do really still love my Kreg Jig, this is just way faster for many pocket holes.) It's easy and fast to adjust for different wood widths, as well. It's a simple movement of the fence and a twist to change the bit depth and you're done. I don't have a vacuum attached, but dust just collects in a neat pile underneath. It's also easier on my back, drilling a hole takes seconds and no muscle. Thank you, Kreg!!!!

Great Machine for Production
Up to this point I've been using the Kreg Jig for pocket . It's actually been a great tool and until now met my needs for the occasional pocket hole. I've been doing some commercial work this past year and recently needed to produce some items that would require 352 pocket holes! The jig would take a few hours to drill those and since I'll be making these things in batches of 10 (320 holes) now and then, It was time to find a faster solution. The holes are being drilled in 2x2 stock so while faster it did take a little extra time to make sure the stock was perpendicular to the fence since only the end of the 2x2 was up against it. I added the plywood using double sided tape which allowed me to position the work piece so it was aliened every time. The net result was 176 pocket holes in less than 30 min! I adapted my shop vac to the machine and it did a great job of keeping sawdust to a minimum. The machine appears to be well built, but still light enough to hang on my shop wall when not in use. Bottom line, if you need to drill a lot of pocket holes then this is a great solution, if not, then check out the various Kreg pocket hole jigs.

A real time saver for a production cabinet shop.
As a cabinet maker I find this tools is essential to be productive. It saves a ton of time and working on sheet goods horizontally rather than vertically has made me very happy with the purchase. Setup can be a bit cumbersome but I generally only use it at one setting for 3/4 material so it's not much of an issue.

I recently used the Foreman Pocket Hole Machine for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! As someone who enjoys woodworking, I was thrilled with how easy it was to use. The setup was straightforward, and the instructions were clear, making it perfect for beginners and pros alike. The machine itself is sturdy and well-built. It drilled pocket holes quickly and precisely, which saved me a lot of time compared to doing it manually. The adjustable features allowed me to get the exact angle and depth I needed for different projects, ensuring strong and clean joints every time. One of the best parts was the dust collection system, which kept my workspace clean and free from sawdust. It made the whole process much more enjoyable and less messy. The machine also felt safe to use, with secure clamps holding the wood in place while drilling. Overall, my first experience with the Foreman Pocket Hole Machine was fantastic. It’s efficient, easy to use, and produces professional results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their woodworking projects. Five stars!

Absolutely love it! Fast and effective. The built in clamping works wonderfully. My average cycle time was much faster than the one minute that Kreg states. Even the width adjustment process and the bit and bushing change over were both super simple and quick. One Kreg right angle clamp holds the machine securely to my bench without the need to ever screw it down. Well worth the upgrade from my old Kreg K4. The only change I would make is to allow a little more tolerance to the maximum 1 1/2 inch width, as an entire batch of obviously unfinished 2X4s that I was using for a framing project with the HD bit could not be accommodated without a bit of planing. That overly tight tolerance forced an unnecessary step. By the way, I used 3 not 2 holes for super strong joints in the 2X4s. Keep in mind that you will still need a portable jig for some applications.
