I was remodeling a basement and using #2 bits to screw in the drywall screws. Burned out quite a few. A friend of mine gave me one of these bits and what a difference! The bit held the screws so much better and were much easier to put in. I used that one bit for the remaining 60% of the effort.

The smaller tip definitely lasts longer than the standard size #2 bits even for non drywall screws. I chose these because I bought this brand for my last big project 20 years ago. The bits don't last that long, I just space out my drywall jobs.

They fit well, very little wobble and strong enough to round out or break screws without the bit wearing out. They've outlasted every other big I've tried so far.

They seem to be made of not the best quality metal and strip out after only a few uses.

I've used this brand for many years very satisfied. Lowes brand are junk!
