Great books at an amazing price. I run a first aid training business and these are so much cheaper than other competitors when on sale. I find the A4 size to be friendly for a big range of people, easy clear explanations and lovely images. Really pleased and will definitely recommend to anyone.

Brand new book, opted for next day delivery as it was needed for my first aid assessment for nursing.Has a brief description of first aid procedures, but does lack some details. I guess that's why it's a reference book. Does the job regardless

Hopefully I'll never need to refer to it in detail for the more extreme things, but good to know I have an easy to use reference guide of the day-to-day things I might be able to help with while waiting for the trained professionals to arrive (or if they can't attend quickly for any reason).Handy "rebreath" protective sheet included too, which I wasn't expecting (for personal protection during mouth-to-mouth resuscitation) :)

Well written and very well presented - I like the A4 format. The diagrams and tables are particularly well done and useful I think - the two pages on shock highlight the strengths of this book really well. The CPR section is fully up-to-date with the current Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2010 and the AED appendix with photos and diagrams is very useful reminder. If you want comprehensive, up-to-date and clear guidance that I think this book would be suitable and it is a good price.
