I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this one. I need a printer because I’m disabled and can’t write with a pen anymore. But I don’t use them all that often, so inkjet printers are useless, as they dry up if you don’t use them constantly. Hence why I needed a laser printer. It’s a mono printer, so only prints in black and white. But that’s great for me as that’s all I need. Just to print letters off. It’s fast and it prints beautifully. Not a single error like you often get with inkjets. It also connects to the Brother Mobile connect app with iOS and android. You don’t even need a PC. You can print straight from your phone over WiFi. I have also connected it to my computer though and it works flawlessly. Another great thing about it is that the ink is great value. You can get compatibles for less than £20 for it from the brother website or via the app. It’s also cheaper on Amazon than a lot of other retailers. All in all, I’m really impressed and glad I did my research.

Have used brother printers for nearly 40 years. This is as good as everything else they make. Easy to set up, good quality materials used and excellent print quality.

The printer itself is perfectly fine. Good print quality, fast printing, duplex printing is great, wireless is great. Speaking of wireless, here's the reason I knocked one star off. The instructions are simply terrible and don't work. I worked my way through the menus myself to get WiFi working, but I've got the advantage of being a former comms engineer. I use Linux, and there's the other problem. The instructions for installing the software are bad too. I had to web search to find out what was really needed. Also, the EcoPro free 4 months didn't happen, as the signup locked up as I was completing it and I can't get back in. Not bothered by that though, as it's cheaper to buy your own OEM toners than pay £1.99 a month. But if you can get over the jenky software setup, it's a great printer that I'd recommend for anyone needing to print documents, emails, invoices and the like.

Until now we’ve had an all-in-one printer scanner copier, but in fact all we really ever print are package return labels or package labels for items we are posting or email and work related documents, so this was bought to facilitate quick and easy printing of stuff like that, I mean who really prints photos at home these days anyway? The unit has a bigger footprint than other monochrome printers I had been looking at but I decided that being able to load a tray of appear rather than having to add as needed was a good trade off for us. Setup involved clicking the cartridge in ace, adding appear to the tray, plugging in and connecting to WiFi. All very easy and quick with good but brief instruction. I’d say I printed my first page within 5 minutes of opening the box! One factor choosing a monochrome laserjet printer was cost of prints. This comes with a ‘starter’ print cartridge, however it says will print about 700 pages, so initially this may take us a while to use up so Inrefrained from adding an additional cartridge to my basket. Replacement cartridges are quite expensive but when I looked at the cost of the 5 colours needs for my old printer and the fact that sometimes it was weeks between prints so the ink dried up, this printer won’t suffer that issue and in fact will be way more cost effective over time. I love the fact that it’s wifi connected to my home network and we can very quickly and easily connect and print from out phones, laptops and tablets with no problem at all. Eprint, Apple air print and other wireless printing tools are all catered for. Print quality so far is excellent. We haven’t printed any complicated images or tried to print photos in black and white yet although that was not what we purchased this printer for. Overall, this is a solid product that is a really good price if you are needing a small printer with effortless black and white printing.

Incredible, a good printer, easy to install and price to quality is REALLY GOOD. Nothing to difficult for printing from your phone or laptop.

...but I've not used it long enough... Like the ink after some test print pages seem to be going DOWN too quick... But setting this up compared to the BS that was setting up my returned Epson ET2810; it's night and day. After my horrid time wasting and horrid print quality experience with that Epson printer, I had braced myself for what was to come with this brother printer. And so when it was done, setup in record time, as you'd expect from a nicely designed printer system...an amazing feeling of joy overflowed because I was very surprised how easy it was to set this one up and how it just worked without the convoluted BS that is the Epson printer or the Epson connect system is. I don't like the fluctuating prices for this though because seeing a lower price after you've bought this, is kind of annoying. Still trying to understand the point of the subscription to ink services though, and what you get with the 6 months trial, like, can you really get free ink for six months if you printed using the highest subscription paid plan? They'll deliver all that to you for free? Still looking for the catch...so 4/5 for now. Update: 27-7-24 4 to 2 stars First, you’d think this prints on top of the page, but it actually prints below, then the top page. You’ll find out when wanting to print on a particular side. Then if you’re using double sided prints, and 2 pages per sheet, you’ll also find that it prints pages upside down and not in a good freaking order?! I’ll do a firmware update, but this should not have shipped with these issues! So wanting to give the 5 stars, is no longer the case. Update 20-12-24 Just tried printing 100 double sided pages, and the ink is GONE. Then installed a spare, after 100 more pages, it’s less than half. Wft is going on? 1 star. Or rather zero. Everything works but the way this printer guzzles ink? It’s mind blowing. Wft?!

When my last printer packed up a few ears ago I bought a Canon inkjet MP250 through Amazon deals, I knew the catch would be the price of ink but since I don't do much printing I didn't think it would be a problem..... but that was a mistake, I'm getting through 3 sets of ink cartridges a year which even on Amazon is about £25 a set. ….. Considered a laser but found colour ones are expensive, since I mainly print text I decided to look at b/w lasers. Brother seemed to keep cropping up in reviews when reliability was mentioned so.... First Impressions was that it was solidly built, set up was easy - win 10 already had the correct driver - and if you follow the quick set up guide takes only a few minutes. I used USB so as usual you need to provide a USB cable. Now to printing, the first thing I noticed was the speed of printing compared with the inkjet, the pages came out immediately one after the other. Print quality was excellent, letters appeared to be sharper and jet black making them very easy to read. Can't comment on durability yet hence only 3 stars, but it does seem solidly built. The only slight problem is as mentioned by others is curling of the paper when printing both sides, however it doesn't kink the paper leaving a mark so it can be left to flatten. Only other problem is the usual lack of a USB cable. It is only a printer, but since the Canon is multi-functional, print, copy and scan that's not a problem. The main advantage is that printing is now affordable.

La sto usando da meno di un mese per cui la valutazione è solo parziale. E' molto robusta, facilissima da istallare perché non necessita di scaricare driver: sia windows dal 7 in poi sia Android rilevano automaticamente la tipologia di stampante e i driver necessari per eseguire le stampe. Per impostarla in modalità WIFI si possono scegliere più modalità. Io l'ho fatto in modalità manuale, cioè direttamente dal display dove nella sezione RETE si presenta la SSID (il nome della rete WIFI di casa) e poi si può immettere la password di rete se l'avete impostata. E' silenziosissima, rapida e la qualità di stampa può essere preimpostata fino a livelli alti. E' già dotata di un toner per 700 fogli di stampa e in caso di esaurimento, ho visto versioni di toner originali a circa 20 € per 1200 fogli. In sintesi, per un uso domestico e per stampe in B/N è eccellente. La Brother è una marca rinomata per cui sono certo che fra qualche anno sarà ancora perfettamente in uso.

Wir nutzen den Brother HL-L2350DW inzwischen seit mehreren Jahren im Alltag und sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Der Drucker läuft bei uns regelmäßig auch bei größeren Druckaufträgen – und das bislang komplett ohne Probleme oder Ausfälle. Die Druckgeschwindigkeit ist angenehm hoch und gerade bei Textdokumenten liefert er ein sauberes, scharfes Druckbild. Auch der automatische Duplexdruck funktioniert zuverlässig und spart im Alltag einiges an Papier. Für Farbdrucke und Fotos verwenden wir zusätzlich unseren Brother MFC-J1010DW, sodass der Laserdrucker bei uns klar für den Schwarzweiß-Druck zuständig ist – genau dafür ist er unserer Meinung nach ideal geeignet. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns die Langlebigkeit: Selbst nach längerer Nutzung zeigt das Gerät keine Schwächen. Auch mit kompatiblem Toner haben wir mittlerweile sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Nach einigem Ausprobieren haben wir eine Alternative gefunden, die qualitativ absolut mit dem Original mithalten kann – ohne sichtbare Unterschiede im Druckbild. Vorteile: ✅ Sehr zuverlässig, auch bei hohem Druckvolumen ✅ Schneller Druck und gute Qualität bei Texten ✅ Problemloser Duplexdruck ✅ Kompakt und platzsparend ✅ Funktioniert auch mit gutem kompatiblen Toner einwandfrei Nachteile: ⛔ Kein Farbdruck (für uns aber bewusst so gewählt) 💡 Fazit: Wer einen soliden, langlebigen Schwarzweiß-Laserdrucker für den Alltag sucht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung – gerade in Kombination mit einem separaten Farbdrucker eine sehr praktische Lösung. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Item as described in the description. I love it! It prints fast and I love the wifi. Best to order another toner if you're printing a lot more pages. As the first toner given with your printer is not 3000 pages it's a lot less. So if you see the toner on special buy it in bulk.
