It's needed to buy if you have a meta quest
This is the best thing to have on your meta quest. If you don't your battery life will only get you 1hr 30 minutes tops. With the attachment you get comfortable fit and up to 7 hrs without having to recharge it again.

Bad head band
The one i got does not charge my head set. It strips about the time it gets snug. Cheap band. Like a old welding helmet strap. I wouldn't by another one from this brand.

Better then the standard strap, comfortable even after hours of wearing. Easily adjustable. Battery doesn't quite last as long as they say. Get 2 more hours of game play depending intensity of game. I.e. your bowling 2.5. Playing a shooter on multi-player 1.5.Edit: does not provide 18w charge the Quest 3 requires, slow charge rare to quest, will extend play time, but quest still dues out while strap battery has power. More for quest 2 then for quest 3.

Not super comfortable
Not super comfortable, battery makes whole thing heavy. Also had a couple of instances where battery wouldn't keep quest 3 powered, quest shut off , even though auxiliary battery was above 75% charged. Not sure if thats an auxiliary battery or quest3 problem. But when it works I can play over 4 hours.
