FRiLuk Vegan Minimalist Wallet RFID Blocking Made of Cork

Haven't had it 'out and about' yet, but have tried it with various contents. I was looking for something vegan and more compact than a fabric velcro rip wallet I currently use, especially for those times when I might just want to take a card or two and a bit of cash. I ordered this and a cork bi-fold wallet from another company. That was a a failure due to bulk and smell, but the Friluk minimalist wallet seems just fine. I actually managed to get my driving licence, some cash and about seven or 8 cards into it without fighting just to see if it was possible, although that might make it just a bit fiddly to get some items back out again. Card and ID slots seem pretty secure and the ID slot has a cutout that makes it easy to push a UK driving licence, or similar, out quite easily. That's a good idea so long as the exposed part of the licence isn't constantly rubbing up against coins and keys, etc in your pocket or bag. Just use common sense and it should be okay, but be aware if you're the type to chuck all sorts in your pockets or bags in a careless manner. It doesn't smell like the cork wallet I ordered from another company, it actually is compact (especially if used sensibly rather than really stuffing it), and it's quite neat. As an ex graphic designer and someone who doesn't really want logos all over my belongings, I think the logo could be smaller, neater or absent to make the wallet even neater. It's not terrible though as the black print is softened by the dark brown background.

This wallet feels as strong as leather but with none of the animal cruelty issues. It holds your cards very snugly so there's little chance they'll fall out. The ID section has a hole in the middle of the plastic to slide the card in and out more easily, which is an extremely useful feature.One thing worth noting is that this is definitely a MINIMALIST wallet, so it will not hold more than 6-8 cards and little else. This is not a design flaw, as it does exactly what it says on the tin, but as someone used to a larger wallet, I've had to make some hard choices about which cards to carry with me. Again though this is my own fault and unrelated to the wallet.

Good quality, my first cork wallet. I was surprised of the quality and how durable it is. Be aware this is a 'mimimalist' wallet though. Will take some adjusting to if you've always had large wallets. Fits great in pockets though and very light. Overall I am very pleased with it.

I love this product. It lost a star because of the high price point which sinks the value for money.

Slim, neat, light and functional. Cards firmly held, £5 and £10 notes need one fold, £20 need two, to avoid sticking out. Also suits omnivores!
