Really so good, very comfortable especially at the back. I just hope it’s wider so that my hands could lay on it too atbthe same time and longer so that my whole leg too

This mat looks threatening when you pull it out of the box the first time. I was a little intimated and nervous about using it. It takes some positioning/readjusting, but once you get the hang of it, it feels really good on sore/tense muscles. I've never done acupuncture before, and the manual included with the product does recommend using acupuncture in addition to acupressure for best results. I like that it comes with a carrying/storage bag, which the mat slides into easily. The cost is pretty steep, but if you're in the market for something like this, then I think you'll find it worth the price.

These little, plastic knobby things are sharp. So it does take a little time to get used to. Once you are used to it though, it really does help to take away your aches and pains. It appears to be really well made. I like that it comes with a pillow too because it really gets to any areas of your neck that hurt.

Even the box it comes in looks fantastic, and all the items inside are equally impressive. Everything is very well-made, and appears to be high quality. The embroidery on the bag and mats is quite intricate. It is clear that the company takes a lot of pride in their product. The set also comes with a nice booklet that explains acupressure and gives instructions for different ways to use the mats and pillow. The booklet is well-made and illustrated, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Even a complete beginner to acupressure will feel comfortable trying out this set. With such a nice presentation, this product would make an excellent gift.I was very impressed with the experience of using the product. This was my first time using an acupressure mat, and it did take some getting used to. The first few times I tried the mat, I felt rather sensitive. The spikes are sharp! It was especially difficult to lie down and get up. However, I found that I adjusted quicker than expected. After just a few sessions, I no longer had trouble getting on and off the mat. I even began wearing my thinnest clothing during my sessions so that I could feel the spikes better. However, standing on the foot mat is still a challenge, and I can only tolerate it when wearing thick socks.A thin linen cloth is included for beginners to help ease into the sensations. Even though the cloth looks far too thin to make any difference, it does actually change the way the spikes feel. If you’re very sensitive though, it might be a good idea to begin with something a bit thicker.I primarily used the mat to help with relaxation and tension in the neck and shoulders. I find my sessions to be very relaxing. The pillow is especially nice for neck tension. The shape is perfect, and rolling your head side to side produces a very relaxing massaging effect. I aimed to use the set for between 10-15 minutes on most days, and this amount of time was effective for me. If the tension is not severe, a single session is generally enough to eliminate or greatly reduce it. During times when the tension in my neck and shoulders is the worst, the areas will relax while laying on the mat, but some tightness will return after a while.I did not experience improvement in every area that the product claims to treat. However I feel that the benefits I saw from the relaxation effect make this product well worth a recommendation. Perhaps I will continue to see improvements in other areas if I lengthen my sessions, or if I’m more consistent.I feel like this is an excellent product, and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore acupressure.****About me: Integrity is very important to me.
