Fun game
Great game, every piece is nicely done, the board is lovely, it’s been fun teaching my 10 year old how to play and love the magnets that keep the pieces in place.

Affordable wooden set
Will it last forever? I can't say for certain. Maybe the foam insert to hold the pieces will loosen but I play with my son at least once a week and its holding up nicely. Don't expect polished burl finest woodworking but for a wooden set it does just fine.

For My Grandson
I bought this set for Mr grandson’s 8th birthday. I haven’t given it to him yet but the set looks substantial. I wanted magnetic pieces because his family likes to travel.

Love the magnets.
The magnets help a lot in the use of this board. Poor wood quality and build but it's a great kid's starter set for the price. Not going to be an heirloom piece you pass down though.

The Chess and Checkers game is put together very well. The pieces are very durable and nice. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

well made game for all ages
The chess board is well made and study enough for my 9 year old son. I love that the pieces are magnetic. This game is also easy to travel with when he goes to his friends or grandparents house.
