Very convenient to roll over and erase our mail labels, which is what we wanted it for. Can't complain about anything other than my forgetting to close it occasionally, leaving the ink exposed.

i love this ID protector. It covers our address on catalogs junk mail, prescription bottles, shipping labels etc. I've had no problem with it smearing off on any surface as yet. It covers well and you can't read what it covers. I would absolutely buy this again.

Doesn't work. I wish I had read the other reviews. I usually do, but saw this on cheddar and didn't really think twice. You can still see all personal info pretty clearly. I would recommend overall.UPDATED: I've been using this for a bit now and it works really well on some things. Package mailers and medicine bottles especially. It doesn't cover up some types of mail too well, but I have enough things that it does work for that I am changing from 1 star to 4.

Love this! Just received it along with the usual daily quota of mail, much of it junk. Instead of wasting time shredding all of it or pulling out the identifying information to shred, I quickly swiped and was through it all, ready to recycle in a couple minutes. Even the padded mailers are easy to de-identify with this. On heavy inked characters, I did have to swipe a few times to hide text, but far easier to do this than tear away at parts of the paper. Easy to use- simply press down and the ink pad becomes visible. Once you stop pressing where indicated, the cover is back in place. No mess, and the covering ink dries right away. Highly recommend!

With this handy tool, I don't have to laboriously cut my private information off things like the paper that comes with prescriptions. Has made prepping paper for recycling a lot easier.

This is my second purchase for this product. It's so easy to use I gave a second one to my aunt who's in her ninety's. She really likes it too!
