I won’t have an ipad without one of those
This is a new version of a keyboard I have purchased before and I absolutely love that the ipad holder easily disconnects with the keyboard if I need to use it as simply a tablet and not my normal writing machine. These keyboards last so long. I writed upto 10,000 words a day on them all week long and they hold a charge beautifully and don’t get those stuck keys so many keyboards get.

Not as good
It worked great for three months after that couldn't paired the blootooth. They don't have a customer service number to contact to replace or exchange the item.

A Very Sturdy Case
Although I have owned this case for only a few days, I can say that, so far, I like the fact that it does a good job of protecting my new iPad 9.7. It is also attractive (I have the rose gold iPad and case). It was easy to connect to Bluetooth and to insert the iPad into the case. The reason I gave this case 4 stars and not 5 is that the directions were in very small print and could have been better written and, more importantly, due to the layout of the keyboard. There is a lock key right above the delete key (and I have already inadvertently locked the iPad!). Also, the shift key on the left is large (maybe this keyboard was designed for a leftie?), but the same key on the right is the same size as the letter keys and is placed right above the end key and right next to the page up key--so I have to be very careful when I hit the shift so as not to hit one of those keys. Overall, though, for the price it is a nice keyboard case.

I’ve compared all the similar keyboard cases on Amazon and this is the winner!
This keyboard is great, especially for the price when you compare what apple charges for keyboards. I ordered several similar ones to try and this was the winner. It’s aluminum not cheap looking plastic like some of the others. The keyboard lights up and the color selections are great. I especially like the white keys instead of the painted ones some of the others had. I don’t think they will wear well. I like the cut out for the apple logo on the back. I ordered the rose gold color which matches the new 2018 gold colored iPad perfectly. Great color. This one seems much more solid compared to the others available on Amazon. The one thing I’m bummed about which I wish they would offer is the ability to turn the screen like some of the others. BUt, at the end of the day, this one is just a nice case and keyboard all around so I decided to keep it despite not having that feature.

My keyboard is defective
So I bought this because I had purchased one about a couple months earlier and really like it. However this one is terrible, think it was never right from the get go. I bought it for myself as I was going to give the first one to my husband, after struggling with the horrible keyboard and delayed and unresponsive keyboard (each & everytime), I traded my husband back for the first one I bought. My husband said he would contact seller, not sure if he followed up on that, but this keyboard is defective. Trying to connect the Bluetooth to keyboard to iPad was challenging...very fussy. Perhaps it is just a lemon and others are okay...?

Great Product, lousy Vendor
I would only give 2 stars as the Vendor sent me a used Keyboard Case. They are lucky that this is a great. Product. The Rose color matches my iPad 9.7 Pro. The keyboard is responsive and I love all the colors I can choose to light up the keys. The Right Shift Key is in an awkward area, I keep hitting the return key instead, but I’ve now gotten used to wear the right shift key is, so I guess that is okay.The battery life is amazing. I’ve had the keyboard for about 2-months and it’s still operating on the first charge.

Functional but delicate
Was a gift for my wife to go with her new iPad, and she is less than thrilled.The color is nice, the lit keyboard is a cute touch, but the kbd layout has her frustrated more than not, and OMG IT SCRATCHES LIKE MAD.After just a couple weeks of normal "put it in my bag" use, the back looks like someone took a brillo pad to it (hint: we did not).Sigh. Buyer beware.

Average keyboard,
1. No touchpad, means that you can only use this for typing but need to use the screen to move around. Hence took it off and went back to my original case.2. Taking off the case is hard too3. Uses microusb charger, which means I need to carry two cables one for ipad, one for keyboard.4. As others said, keyboard bends to about 100 degree angle. Good enough, but cannot remove or fold 180.Very easy to setup. Charge the keyboard, then hit Fn+C, connect using Bluetooth settings.
