Product/Company Review
This review is intended to service two purposes. First, the shocks themselves are very good and have improved the golf cart ride significantly. However, the install was not easy especially as I was replacing the leaf springs at the same time. Perhaps some instructions could be provided with the shocks that would help us rookies to complete the installation.Second, although you are dealing directly with Amazon, ordering and paying and sometimes returning and reviewing, what I learned from this purchase is that in most cases you are also dealing with a third-party supplier of the product. In this case I was dealing with LEAPGOMAX.I initially ordered two sets of these shocks. One set was fine and I installed them on the back of the golf cart. The second set, to be installed in the front, just would not work. I returned that set to Amazon and indicated that I believed the set was defective. Amazon accepted my return and refunded my payment, no problem. To my pleasant surprise, a week later I received an email from CEO Youki of LEAPGOMAX seeking clarification of the problem with the shocks and his desire to know how he could make it right. It amazed me that the CEO of a company, large or small, would take the time to reach out to make sure that this one-time customer was going to be a satisfied customer. Through the exchange of emails, I learned that Youki was dealing with a family emergency, yet, he still took the time to work with me. In conclusion, Youki was very helpful and professional and he did make it right! It is not every day that this exceptional level of service is provided. His efforts to do the right thing is much appreciated and I fully intend to support his company going forward.

Works great!
Good quality. Tougher install than expected. These were installed on the rear of my 2008 Ezgo TXT. Had to take a shackle bolt out of each side and lift the cart from the rear to get enough room to install and then lower back down to tighten nuts. Extenders had to be added since they were on the rear.Definitely took the loose feeling and wobble out of my cart. Handles a lot better in my opinion.

So far so good
Some install tips: Took a little more effort to install with the body of the cart on vs stripped down, but doable. I had to back out 2 of the bolts holding the rear seat on. They are in the way of the top shock nuts. With them backed out it will give access to reach under and slide a wrench in and loosen the top shock nuts. For both removal and install, once you break the nut loose, you can hold it in place with a wrench on the hard to reach top side and spin the dampener by hand to spin the nut the rest of the way off. Using a ratcheting wrench it barely had enough room to move back and forth to get one click. And not enough room to actually spin a regular wrench much at all.Lower nuts were a breeze. Without the extender the new coilovers were too short. With the extender installed there wasn’t enough room to slide them in. So I unbolted the rear leaf spring shackled and lifted the body of the cart up. This will drop the rear axle and give enough room to slide the upper shock mount into place and put a nut on. Then lower the body back down to work the bottom side. The extender looks like it may be a weak point but time will tell. They definitely made a huge improvement over the stock dampeners. Extremely happy with them so far. Will probably end up ordering a set for the front. Another plus… they got here the same day I ordered them.

Nice Coil Overs.
I ordered a set of four of these heavy duty coil over shocks to help my tired leaf springs on my EZGO TXT. On occasions I haul hundreds of pounds of extra weight on my buggy and I noticed my factory leaf springs were starting to get soft. Instead of buying new leaf springs, I decided to add these coil over shocks. The new coil over shocks did the trick and even raised my cart a couple inches. It does ride a tad stiffer but only when I'm not hauling anything. Most of the time I have bags of feed on it or several people with me. No regrets on this product.

Awesome Shocks for my 2020 EZGO Valor TXT
OMG what a difference on how my golf cart rides. Let me start by saying the OEM shocks that come on a golf cart have nothing in them. You can move the shock in and out easily with your hands. My opinion is that they do nothing. These shocks on the other hand are stiff and you will need something to compress the springs when you install these. The back springs are a challenge to change due to limited room to move around and the location of the top bolt. Front was a piece of cake. All in all, these have made a world of a difference in how my golf cart rides. These even raised my cart about 1.5". I am very pleased with these shocks.
