It says for rev gen4 but will it fit on a 2018 600h.o. etec rev-xs i think i have a medium size windshield and it looks like it would ?

Not sure. They way to tell would be to go to the skidoo install instruction website pop in the part number and download the template for drilling the holes. Then you can place them on your windshield and see if everything lines up.

how are these mounted on the deflectors ?

Mounts on medium and higher windshield side deflectors and can be adjusted for 1-up or 2-up riding. Mirrors can fold away when not in use for easy storage or when covering vehicle.
