My three year old loves this game!!
We absolutely LOVE this game! We bought it to teach my three year old how to play backgammon so she could play with her grandfather who is a backgammon champ. It was exceeded our expectations. The story and characters are too cute! It does a great job of explaining the game and making it memorable for littles. I was worried she would be overwhelmed by all the little pieces but she loves the different kinds of boats and can set the board up by herself. This game is totally worth the money and now we get to have a family game night!

Amazing Backgammon Game!
I absolutely love my new Story Time Backgammon Game! It is so fun, super creative, and very engaging among kids. The game comes with stories and different characters that are super enjoyable! I played the game with my 3 year old nephew and he loved it so much! I highly recommend it!

Fun way to introduce the strategy of backgammon
My child is 8 years old and my husband loves playing backgammon. We had already taught her some of the basics but she was struggling to grasp and remember. This book is geared towards even younger children and broken down into very elementary steps. The story is fun and it is working towards helping cement the concepts in a way that the adults were struggling to do. The game pieces are very fun and the die are beautiful! This is a great gift!

Disappointed at the Backgammon table
I purchased Storytime Backgammon because I own the ST Chess set and really enjoyed teaching my grandson (he is 6) the fundamentals of chess. I had high hopes for backgammon as well but the stories, mini games, etc are falling short of teaching how to.play this game. The stories are too long, the explanations for moves don't make any sense. Etc. I watched a few youtube videos that demonstrate basic backgammon rules so that I can somehow relate the actual rules to the storytime pieces and teach him that way. This could have been a creative way to teach a classic board game but unfortunately the format falls short. I am disappointed and frustrated.
