Does the job well.
Brilliant litter tray. The higher sides are great. And deffo reduces the litter going everywhere. My girl loves kicking her litter around. Good size too.

Great litter tray
Decent size and the sides avoid the litter going over the place. Decent value(£9)at the time of buying.

Good size & easy to clean
Easy to clean, good depth, strong build quality, my cats love it more than the more expensive steel tray we were using previously.

Looks good and no issues
I was skeptical as it was cheap but I think this is actually my favourite litter tray I have ever had. It looks good and high quality. My cats took to it straight away. They don’t use the little bit with holes for stepping so it doesn’t help with litter tracking. And the clips each side don’t clip very well but not sure if this is because of the liner I use. It’s great for clay litter but as I have just switched to wood pellets, I will probably have to get a sifting litter box. But this is no fault of this litter box.

No Smells, No Fuss
When we first came across the Vivo Technologies Cat Litter Tray, we were simply looking for a straightforward, functional solution that didn’t off-gas, wouldn’t crack under pressure (literally), and most importantly, wouldn’t stink up our already well-insulated home. After many underwhelming purchases in the past, where plastic trays reeked of chemical odour straight out of the box or warped under minimal cleaning, this model was a pleasant surprise—and I don’t say that lightly. Right out of the packaging, the first thing I noticed was what I didn’t notice: the absence of any plastic smell. So many litter trays, even from big-name brands, have that unmistakable off-gassing stench that clings to your space and makes you question your life choices. But this one? Nothing. It smelled like, well, nothing. That alone makes it worth considering for anyone sensitive to scents or living in a smaller space where odours are more noticeable. The material used here is a BPA-free, non-toxic, food-grade plastic. And I believe them. Not only does it feel solid in hand, but you can tell it's not just cheap brittle plastic. There's a slight flex to it without being weak, and the texture is smooth without being slippery. Cats are notoriously picky creatures, and our rescue cat (who has previously refused to use litter trays that felt "off") took to this one immediately without hesitation. That’s a sign in itself. One thing I loved about the design is the removable high rim. For those unfamiliar, the rim is there to catch stray litter that would otherwise be flung across the floor like confetti at a festival. My cat likes to dig like she’s halfway to Australia, and this rim actually holds up. It’s detachable too, which means it can be easily unclipped for thorough cleaning or left off entirely if your cat prefers a lower profile. We tried both setups and eventually settled with the rim on. It's practical, it helps, and it doesn't pop off when bumped like other models we've tried. The included scoop is surprisingly decent. I’ve bought entire separate scoops before that were worse quality. This one has a solid feel, cleans easily, and hooks neatly onto the tray when not in use—simple, thoughtful design. I’ll take that over gimmicky features any day. Let’s talk dimensions. At 49 x 38 x 23cm, it’s big enough for most medium to large cats without being an eyesore in your home. It’s also incredibly easy to clean. No awkward angles, no corners that trap waste, no textured surfaces that hold on to smells. A quick rinse and swipe with a pet-safe cleaner and it’s spotless. If you want to go the extra mile, you can use tray liners—though honestly, we’ve found it unnecessary. The plastic is that smooth. Now, let’s talk longevity. We’ve had this tray for over six months now, and it looks exactly as it did on day one. There’s no discolouration. No micro-cracks from scooping. No weird warp spots from hot water. It’s still structurally sound. That’s more than I can say for the previous tray we bought from a local shop that cost more and fell apart after a few weeks of use. If you’re someone who uses natural or clumping clay litter, this tray holds up. We use tofu-based litter (another odourless choice), and there’s no reaction, no staining, no smell leakage. This tray seems to play well with everything. A friend uses crystal litter with the same tray and reports similar results. The high sides do an admirable job of keeping litter where it should be. Another big plus: the base is solid and flat. You’d be surprised how many trays come with odd ridges underneath that cause tipping or sliding. This one stays put. We’ve even used it on a slightly uneven floor, and it doesn't wobble. If you have multiple cats, the tray’s price makes it feasible to buy more than one and still save compared to higher-priced alternatives that offer the same functionality. The tray is also dishwasher safe if you’re one of those ultra-hygienic types. We haven’t had to go that far yet, but it’s nice to know you could. And because it's lightweight at just under 1kg, even our eldest family member has no trouble picking it up to take outside or rinse off in the bath. Let’s not overlook aesthetics. The grey colour is subtle, stylish even, and doesn’t scream "cat toilet" the way some bright pink or neon blue trays do. It blends in, especially if your home leans towards neutral tones. So where’s the catch? Honestly, I’m struggling to find one. If I’m being fussy, the rim clips could be a tad tighter, but they’ve never come off on their own. Some people might want a hooded option, but if you’re after an open tray for ease of cleaning and happier cats (some don’t like enclosed spaces), this is the one. In terms of environmental peace of mind, the BPA-free tag is important. BPA (bisphenol A) has been linked to various health concerns in both humans and animals. So choosing a tray made from BPA-free plastic means one less thing to worry about—especially when it's something your pet interacts with daily. And if you’ve got curious toddlers in the house, that non-toxic label brings added relief. This tray ticks every box: it’s budget-friendly, odourless, food-safe plastic, durable, spacious, well-designed, and easy to clean. We’ve since recommended it to neighbours and friends with cats and even one with a rabbit (who reportedly took to it immediately as a new litter corner). It works, and more than that, it works quietly. It doesn’t demand your attention. It just does its job, which is perhaps the highest praise you can give a litter tray. We’ve placed it in different locations—the utility room, the kitchen, even a sunroom—and each time it performs without issue. Unlike some trays that warp in the cold or smell weird in the heat, this one remains completely neutral. And in the endless sea of poorly made, overpriced or overly complicated litter trays, this is one of those rare finds that combines thoughtful design, quality material, and real-world performance. Whether you’re a first-time cat owner or a seasoned feline caretaker, this tray deserves a spot on your shortlist—and likely in your home.

Perfect for my little boy
I recently got the Cat Litter Tray Box for my 10-week-old kitten and I honestly could not be happier. It is just the right size for him. He has enough space to move around comfortably but it is still easy for him to hop in and out which has made litter training so much less stressful. The tray feels sturdy and easy to clean which is a lifesaver when dealing with tiny paws and the occasional accident. I love the smooth surface inside as it makes cleaning a breeze. The design is simple but practical and it fits perfectly in my apartment without taking up too much room. Most importantly, he loves it. He goes in happily every time and does not scatter litter everywhere which is amazing for keeping the space tidy. Watching him use it so confidently makes me feel like I picked exactly the right tray. I would recommend this to anyone with a kitten as it really makes life easier and keeps both you and your little furry friend happy.

Good for kitten from 8 weeks to 5 months old
This cat litter is ok, does wash well, big enough for my kitten. But as your kitten grow this isn't suitable. The cat tense to scratch the litter for doing his business, and everything goes on the floor, this product isn't high enough, or even i suggest that it should be closed. Maybe the product is just not finish, or they should have mention " Only for kitten, from 8 weeks to 5 months old ".
