Low price, two colors (both good), full Kg, no wax, dissolve completely
Headline says it all. Good product, and cheaper than others.

Great, nice color
Excellent product. Tip: grind into a powder with a mortar and pestle or even a coffee grinder. It will dissolve in under an hour. The colors are rich. This is not a bleached blonde like you can also buy. It's a nice, natural color. The amber is also rich, and doesn't get too red. It stays amber-like.

Good Quality
It dissolves well and works well. I'm using it to restore the finish on a vintage Fender 12-string and an antique gaming table with fine marquetry work. It has performed beautifully.

Perfect!
Forget buying premade shellac. Making your own with denatured alcohol and these flakes is so much cheaper and the flakes give you control of the cut. A little goes a long way with these flakes.

Nice long lasting supply
Very few contaminates in this shellac, the blonde has a few darker pieces and vice versa but invisible when mixed. These flakes dissolve readily without grinding in 15 minutes with occasional stirring, and with this set you can get any shade of Shellac from deep reddish purple to very light, clear yellow. As a hobby wood worker... I wont have to buy Shellac again for years!

There’s a leaning curve needed.
Only used the blonde flakes so far. Ground to a powder mixed with denatured alcohol. Applied multiple times to red oak. Sanded between applications with 280 grit. The finish came out ok, but patience is needed to get a nice finish. Apply light coats, make sure it dries completely (high humidity makes for slow drying times) before each additional application. View you tube how-to vids. It helps a lot.

Great stuff and cheaper than others
I’m no expert, first time making and using my own shellac. This garnet shellac was wonderful used in my Hvlp sprayer! I bought it a second time, MUCH CHEAPER than other retailers. Haven’t used the blonde yet but expect nothing different.
