TubShroomTub Drain Protector Hair Catcher Strainer Snare Silicone Chrome Standard

Cannot believe how pleased I am with this product. I have bought different brands in the past which have never lived up to expectation in terms of the drain protector doing just that. This product however has been easy to fit, easy to clean, and very good at stopping hair from blocking the drain. Would not hesitate to purchase again. Money well spent.

We tried a couple of 'over the plughole' type hair catchers and they were a bit of hit and miss - sometimes they worked but not often and not well. So ordered this one - a bit more expensive as it has the chrome top but it finally arrived (from America, I believe) and fits out standard plug hole no problem. And it catches hair. My wife has long hair and uses brushes when she shampoos her hair, meaning she pulls a bit out each day! This gizmo collects it all, I may have to open up a cushion business, stuffed with human hair...

The media could not be loaded.  I am based in the uk and this works great! It might be that this particular one fits a range of plug holes but I’ve had no issues with it.

I was expecting this to fit snugly in my shower drain, however the rubber base isn't really broad enough to fit snugly and making this sieve stand up properly in the drainhole, consequently it flops over to one side and the metal top which only has 3 small holes, prevents the water from draining out of the shower tray properly. Erm... it had such brilliant reviews though. Surely shower drainholes are all of a similar size?? Disappointed but will see how it does at catching hair.

Although it does what it says on the product, you need to have a deep enough swage entrance for it to go deep enough to be effective. Otherwise, the hair will clog the button part, preventing the water from draining properly and leaving a small pool of water in the shower. This kind of defeats its own purpose in my case, as avoiding this small water pool is what made me consider this product in the first place. But now I see the product simply blocks the swage on its own.

I bought this for both my son's as they left home. We have had one for over 5 years that is still looking good and doing its job.It just sits in the plug hole of your shower/bath and stops hair from going down the drain. It will save you money from blocked drains and also save you from having to try and pull all the hair out the drain.If your water is slow to drain when using the tubshroom, just remove the hair that will be wrapped round it. Any hair is easily removed. I find that an old toothbrush is good for cleaning the inside of it.

Sadly this product does not work properly in our plug hole. It is too small and therefore, when the shower is running it is not allowing the water to drain quickly, as it fits flush with the shower tray. Sadly because the packaging is horrible hard plastic and the only way to open it is cutting this cannot be sent back. Would not recommend unless you are 100% sure it will fit. It does state it is meant to sit proud of the Bath/shower tray and mine definitely doesn’t.

I love my tub shrooms…so much, that I bought some for each of my grown kids as well-They work amazingly; and seem to catch all of our hair and are easy to clean. No negatives on this product! I highly recommend them!

Fits in the shower drain to prevent clogging. Easy to pull out to clean.

I use it in my bath and im no longer afraid if my long hair go down the drain thia thing will catch it all. Since my hair is long and thick it fill up faat i check after wveey shower or 2 ( I have a lot of hair). The only down side is the little metallic cover fell and impossible to put it back. But otherwise works perfect. Same for the drain

This is a product I don't want to be without. With waist length, very fine hair, I have spent many years cleaning drains out. This great little hair catcher works perfectly, and catches 95% of the hair, so I don't have to clean the drain very often. Love it !!

This gadget is perfect in my tub. It collects all the hair which could plug up the drain and is easy to clean afterwards.
