DKNYMen's 3-in-1 Soft Shell Systems Jacket with Fleece Liner

This is a wonderful and light weight but very warm jacket. Very comfortable.....nice material and made very well...worth every penny.

This DKNY jacket is really quite nice. The material - inside and out - has a very nice feel, and the 4-way stretch is a bonus. Sizing is pretty much as I expected - I wear a large in most jackets and tops, and this fit me in the solders very well. The only fit issue I had is in the waistband and wrist cuffs, which are a little bit larger than I prefer (see pix). I do have relatively thin wrists for my overall size and broad shoulders relative to my waist (I am 6-1, 192 pounds with a 32-33" waist) so I am not terribly surprised that these areas are slightly large on me.There are two zippered pockets on the outside positioned just slightly higher than I like (but not awkwardly high to put your hands inside to keep warm), and a third zippered pocket on the inside left chest. All pockets are quite spacious with plenty of room for a hat or gloves or cellphone/wallet.The hood is large and comfortable and has a cord to cinch it up in bad conditions. All zippers are high quality, solid, and have nice motion along the teeth. Overall weight of the jacket is good, fairly lightweight considering the size of the jacket and yet it feels like it is going to provide a good level of warmth. The tags say it is wind and water resistance, a good thing for where I live with snow and precipitation during the colder months.Some of DKNY's clothing has logos that are too large for my taste, but this one has a very reasonable patch on the left shoulder that isn't overbearing. The color is a very dark blue, a bit darker than what I expected from the pictures. But I really like the color, being dark but not black or navy.The only issue I have had with the jacket is some stitching that came undone at the bottom inch of the left side main zipper. You an see from the pix that is was stitched here, but the thread came undone. I am sure I can fix this with a thread and a needle in about 5 minutes, but this does raise a small red flag about overall manufacturing quality when a product arrives with a defect such as this. If I run into any other issues I will update my review.Overall, I would recommend this as a stylish winter jacket with the one-star deduction coming from the loose/missing stitching on the zipper.

I have owned a lot of winter jackets that have an emphasis on style and i am happy to say this is in the top five best jackets ever. I love the shiny silver bubble effect that almost looks plastic like and reminiscent of that retro swinging sixties looks that was popular in the late sixties. The bomber style i like because it has a tighter fit that does not leave excess bagginess but rather allows the form of the body to be showcases- rather than lots of layering. I am not saying this looks retro it just seems to be a perfection of the idea that was attempted during that time period but not fully realized until now.This jacket is awesome-- it falls into that rare category of stylish winter clothing that looks super cool while actually serving its purpose in a heightened way. A good example of this would be the perimeter going around the waist area when worn fully zipped up. This has a elastic boarder that protrudes down to trap in your body heat. This in turn looks great by maintaining a slim tighter look that keeps out that nasty winter air.There is a cool looking inner pocket that is roomy and good for holding keys which is something i find myself needing in a trustworthy spot for when your hands are cold.The inner lining is of a silky material which i have captured nicely in the photos i have included.I am extremely happy with this jacket and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality winter clothing.

I am getting to be quite the fan of DKNY coats. My husband has the "Performance Four Pocket Parka Jacket" which I've been quite jealous of . . . when I saw this one offered I nabbed it. I am a 5'11" 198 lb woman and normally wear a size L men's. This coat fits me perfectly with the exception of my hips -- which is true of most men's clothing. I love this coat!The pictures truly do not do this coat justice. First of all, I got the blue steele matte coat. The pictures on my monitor show a distinct color difference between the blue and black trim. I think it is an effect of the flash -- mine is actually a sharp navy blue that works very well with the black trim. Second, it is not nearly as puffy as it looks in the picture. It lays nice and flat without adding a lot of bulk to the wearer -- to the point that when I opened it I thought perhaps I had been sent a jacket instead of a winter coat. The cut is quite flattering. It is a straight cut but has a very slight indent at the waist so again . . . flattering and slimming.The manufacturing is high quality, I was unable to find any flaws. And the design leaves little to be desired. The waist and sleeve cuffs have a thick band to keep cold air out. The hand pockets are at the right height to be comfortable and have zippers to allow you to close if you need to make sure something like keys or an id don't fall out. The inside right side has a zipper pocket in the liner. I think it would probably hold both hat and gloves, although that would add bulk to the wearer's frame. The hood is sized correctly and has a cord that can be tightened if you want to cinch it down around your face. The zippers are plastic but thick and heavy duty and worked without issue -- not catching or sticking.I couldn't find a weather rating on this coat but I've been wearing it in the 30's without issue or extra layers and think I could comfortably go lower.Made in Indonesia. Shell and back body lining 89% Polyester, 11% Spandex. lining, filler and knit 100% polyester. Machine wash with like colors, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low.
