This is a great product for it to have both carplay and a dashcam. Easy to instal and setup. Video quality is great and support has been very helpful when i has a issue.

Now I have a 2018 and I feel like most cars that year come with CarPlay but unfortunately mine did not so my phone has been my main operating system on anything and everything for navigating but it got difficult when I needed to multitask like trying to flip back to my map or music. I saw a YouTube video actually suggesting this product so I took a chance. Initially after getting my delivery I wanted to set it up at home first so that way once I installed everything in the car I would be ready to roll. But the usb-c cable I had at home didn’t power in the device. After reaching out to the customer service team they were able to provide me with direct help on how to get things started, turns out my cable at home wasn’t strong enough to power the device and I got the proper voltage cable to get things going. It was a success! Simple easy set up with how to for each instructions. Shout out to the customer service team for being so attentive in following up with me as well and also going above and beyond for finding a solution! Thank you Nancy for your help!

Would give 5 but both stands come with are cheap constantly shaking .. other than that record clear ease to use no problems so far with android auto keeps connected

I have two of these radio adapters. I didn’t want to have to replace the factory entertainment head unit because the radio works well and can play both cassette tapes and has a six disc CD player and sounds awesome. This gadget gives you a touch screen, Bluetooth, Apple Play and Android Play and will send its sound through a built-in fm transmitter into the cars radio. So you get the absolute best of all worlds. A radio, CD changer, Cassette player, streaming capability, dash cam, backup camera and looks good and you don’t need major surgery on your car.

Worst car stereo I've ever used. Very bad! It sometimes keeps on turning off itself and I lost my signal to do my outdoor sales job. The phone audio is a major joke! Whenever I call people, the audio is extremely bad and it sounds like chipmunks voice. Most of all it doesn't hold still properly!!!! It makes it look bad for my car.

I purchased a similar CarPlay unit for my truck last year, and was more than satisfied with it. So much so that I decided to purchase this model for my wife's 2017 Subaru Outback, which has a nav system but no CarPlay built in. My wife did not want a large screen that would block her view, so I went with this 7" screen. I also wanted a unit with built-in dash cam so I could remove her old dash cam and only have one device in the window.So the first thing to realize is that the screen on this model is barely larger than an iPhone. Wider, but not taller than an iPhone in landscape mode. So Yes, it does not block your view forward, but likewise it is difficult to read the screen due to the small size of the text and icons. Try holding your phone 24" from your face and reading it! Now this is not a problem with the unit's performance, but you should be aware of it before you buy a CarPlay unit with this size screen.The worst issue is, the screen quality is awful. The resolution is very sharp and no missing pixels, but the screen is virtually unreadable in the daytime. Even inside the car, the screen is so reflective all I can see is the car interior. At night, the screen looks fine. The touch screen also does not seem very responsive, although that might be due to the small size of the icons - difficult to press accurately.The sound quality, at least using the aux output, is fine. I did not try the Bluetooth or FM radio output.Also - Upon startup, the unit emits an obnoxiously loud tone to let you know it's there. I could find no way in the Settings menu to mute or reduce the volume of the startup tone.I waited too long and missed the return window for this unit, or I would have exchanged it for the same unit I purchased for my truck (by a different manufacturer). That unit had a larger screen (9") but the screen quality was much, much better and it has no annoying startup tone.

Updates after putting the unit to more of a test:Sadly the screen is a bit dim in direct sunlight, even at full brightness. Between this and the stretched aspect ratio I mentioned before I maybe looking for a different unit.It's not an issue for me as I don't plan on using the FM sound option but it is also worth note that it is basically unusable. I tried multiple different station settings and on all of them it was staticy and just sounded like trying to tune into a station out of range. For someone hoping to just connect this via radio I'd recommend something else. Bluetooth and the aux work great, but the FM is unusable. I'm knocking off another star due to this and the screen issues. I think I might reach out to the manufacture actually in case I got a bad unit. Will update again if that is the case.Original review:I'm sure it's due to the screen resolution or aspect ratio, but the display is stretched right to left. At least for Android Auto. It is more noticeable when "show quick controls for apps" is enabled in settings which places the app controls on the bottom of the screen. I do wish they had a 7inch display with a front camera as I wonder if it would fix the issue. I generally like the screen size and feel the 9in screens would be overkill for my car, so I guess I will live with the stretched display.My only other criticism is I wish it came with a 90deg usb cable. The dash mount is too short to use a standard cable, and I can power this thing from the usb on my head unit freeing up my 12v for other things. I had to order one, and it's only a couple dollars but would have been nice to just have in the box even if the device costed an extra couple bucks to account for it.Sound quality of Bluetooth vs aux seems exactly the same which was a nice surprise. I might give the FM a try and update later based on how it sounds.

Great value for the size and features.Android Auto is Great, it connects immediately, it reconnects quickly after you have stopped and turned off car 🚗 for a brief moment and it continues where you left off on your navigation and music 🎶 you were playing at the time you stop.Recording are great quality is good. Camera can rotate to get the correct angle.Many functions and love the Google Assistance.Love the two ways of mounting.4 ways of Audio connection plus you can get additional speaker if you choose speaker as your output, I love it.Sound is excellent 👌 best upgrade ever.I would definitely recommend this productExcellent Customer Service and Team

Product worked great at first. 3 months later the unit shuts off on its own. Turns on its own. Sound quality has slowly been diminishing. Very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best products I ever bought with two very useful features like a dash cam record and wireless carplay/wireless android auto. The packaging is very standard and comes with the required accessories plus some extra double-sided tape and a mounting wire bracket. The item is very friendly and very straightforward to set up the connection between your phone and the unit. Moreover, once your setup is done whenever the unit is on it will automatically connect to your phone. Also, while the unit is powered on then the camera will automatically record the videos and there is a way to access to watch the playback of the recording. I am very impressed with one of the features that this unit has, which is the split screen that allows you to view the carplay feature and what the camera is recording. For the sound quality which is not the best from the built-in speaker, it does have an aux port that allows you to connect to your car aux port. Also, there is an AV port I believe it is for an add-on product that allows to use of a backup camera. (purchase separately) Highly recommend it to people who need a dash cam and also want to experience car play/ android auto features besides this product is portable which is very easy to bring for traveling (if you planning to rent a car).

Loved it for the first few weeks but now it randomly shuts off every 10 mins or so. Very frustrating.
