Just a perfect gift for an up and coming artist!! My 11 year old grandson is enjoying this thoroughly

My 10 year old Grandson loves this kit! He got started with a little cheap one and that’s when I found out that he was really interested in doing leather work. The kit came with just about everything he wanted except the letter stamps. The huge complaint that I have is, the leather case it comes with doesn’t hold the tools in place and so when you fold it up, everything wants to fall out!! I’m going to get with Amazon and the company that makes it and see if they have any suggestions on how to fix this.

Great starter kit. Huge selection of tools, decent quality, great value. Some of the selections went for childish/cutesy, I would have been happier with a smaller selection of more practical tools. One of you first projects will be a replacement handbag. The one that comes with the kit does not hold tools securely.

Its got lots of good starter tools if youre looking to enter the world of hobbies for people 30+ with enough time to do leather work.

One of my biggest concerns were some of these kits had plastic punches and tool handles that look like they would break with the first use. This kit really does have it all (even several pieces of nice leather to start you off). Of all the values of KOR’s I compared, this is the top value for what you get. If you’re wanting to start a hobby or small business this is the perfect kit.

Bought this as a starter kit for leather crafting. Some tools look good and decent quality, while other tools are lacking. The carrying case is not good at all. It looks good but when adding the tools to it even following their directions on where the tools go, the tools fall out in a lot of spots. The loops you put the tools in are of various sizes and half the tools just fall out. Finally had the tools in there where I thought it would work, but when folding the case they will fall out or slip out of the spot. Hopefully the tools hold up while I learn.

Overall its not a bad kit. Ive been doing leather work in one form or another for a long time. This kit is hit and miss. However for the tools in it that I want extra of it was a decent deal. The basic tools that you will use 90% of the time are quite nice. The leather knife is well made works well in the hand easy to sharpen and stay sharp fairly well for what ut is. It skives adequately. I find when doing larger peice its lacking do to size However most this size will have similar issues. The actual skiving knife sucks. Its cheap uneven and will take work to make it useful. Edgar is nice works well. Thread is hit or miss. Overall worth the money if you can use the main tools

Für den Anfang ganz OK. Ein paar Werkzeuge haben mich echt Positive überrascht von der Qualität. Das Ledermesser ist super verarbeitet und echt scharf. Für das Geld kann man nicht viel verkehrt machen. Kanns empfehlen.

excellent product, id suggest getting wax thread and leather elsewhere. the leather provided has a fowl odor and thread is cheap. also i was expecting the carry bag to be actual leather but its just cheap fabric.

Some of the stuff is a bit average but it's a good place to start.
