Tight fit
While one would not want to have the harddrive fall out of this holder, it is an extremely tight fit and I fear that it may wear out/rip over time as my need will be to remove it often in order to add content from my PC before putting back into me remote location connecting it to a TV.

Meh, it's okay
I have some SSD and need a pocket to hold one for my D: drive. This was relatively sturdy, stuck to my computer and moved easily enough. BUT, it has a really easy (loose) fabric that caused me some concern about the holding of the SSD. Not a fan, should be tighter.

Perfect
This is such a great invention. I use my harddrive all of the time on the go and I hate having to have a place to sit it down and now I don’t. This is a great product. I stuck mine to my computer case and it’s worked great.

Smaller than expected, but seems to adhese well.
I got this hoping to have finally found a solution to needing extra desk space and extra travel space for my smaller external drive and numerous USB stick drives. I really love the fabric used for this. It's fairly stretchy, yet seems to hug items pretty well. So you get the best of both worlds there with it being flexible enough to expand its shape a bit, yet tight enough to keep things from falling out. The adhesive that on the back is also quite impressive. I haven't necessarily put it to the test just yet. However, I could tell it's particularly strong just from me trying to get the most optimal placement on my laptop. The downside to this sleeve is that it's a lot smaller than I had anticipated. My WD Passport Ultra Metal edition does fit in the back pocket, but it's particularly tight. With how tight it is, I'm afraid to put my other USBs in the front pocket. Seems like they might get squished, or alternatively fall pit easily due to the space needed for the drive. Another issue with this is that because it is kinda small, and because the fabric is stretchy, it pulls up the sides of the pocket from my laptop. Even with the extra strong adhesive on the back. It's still sticking firmly to my laptop case, but I'm not 100% on the efficacy of the adhesive when in a bag and other items rub or are otherwise pushing against it.Overall, as long as that adhesive stays strong this pocket is a far more superior alternative to what I was doing before. As I had tried both hook and loop, and magnetic strips to hold my external drive on my laptop. If you've got a smaller drive than mine, I'd definitely recommend giving this pocket a shot. If your drive is about the same size as mine I'd say go ahead and go for it. While I can't attest to the long-term use/wear and tear, I'd still say it's a much better alternative in the meantime if it doesn't hold up. Honestly though, I genuinely believe it'll be worth it's cost overall.

Not suitable for 2.5" external drives
The description for this product is a little misleading. It says it is intended for external hard drives. I wanted to use it for a 2.5" Western Digital HD. Although the material it's made of stretches, I had to struggle to force my drive into the pocket/sleeve. It's not really clear that it is best suited for SSDs in external enclosures and other devices/accessories of similar or smaller size.

Subject: A Pocket Full of Fun if You Don’t Push it Beyond its Limits - A Country Boy’s Take
Hey Y’all! Now, have y’all ever found yerself in a pickle tryin' to figure out what all the fuss is about concerning a simple thang like a pocket for a drive? Well, I took a gander at this one, and let me tell ya, the time has come to rustle up my thoughts with that country boy flair! This Pocket Ain't for Portable Hard Disk Drives (HDDs):So, after eyeballin' the reviews from my kinfolk and workin' buddies, I reckon some folks are left scratchin' their noggins. Seems like one of the hiccups is that the seller calls this here pocket a "Hard Drive Holder." Well, that's a wild steer to wrangle. If you toss a portable hard disk drive (HDD) in there, you're liable to kill it. A HDD's too big and dang heavy. Later, down the trail in their papers, the seller spills the beans, sayin' it's meant for an SSD or a mouse. Now, if you cram in a chunky mouse, you might just kill it again. My Rodeo with the Pocket:This pocket's 'bout 4 inches deep, and the Sandisk SSD, one of the longest varmints on the market, is 'bout 4 inches long. It's like they were meant to two-step together. I slapped that pocket on the back of my laptop, slid in the SSD, and it held on tighter than a rider on top a bull in a rodeo.Openin' and closin' my laptop didn't shake it loose. I was also able to peel back the sticky part without leavin' a trace. I then reattached it with similar ease. Now, if you're move’n around this pocket from one laptop to another like tumbleweed in a dust storm, you're askin' for trouble. And trouble will come a-knockin' quicker than a summer storm. But if you use it the way it is intended, it'll work just fine. The Elephant in the Room – The Price Tag:Now, here's the kicker. The only beef I got with this pocket is the price. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this thang is fetchin' so much money. They're all highfalutin' expensive. If they were five bucks a pop, I'd snatch up a dozen quicker than a rattlesnake strikes. But at the price they're askin', I'm balkin' like a mule in a creek.Wrappin' it Up, Y’all:So, there ya have it, folks. My time's up. I'll be back soon with more straight-shootin', fair, and unbiased reviews. 'Cause I'm one of Amazon's Voices and part of Amazon's Vine family and friends. The Country Boy signin' off. Peace out, y’all!
