The Killer B' Movie Collection [Region 2]

Superb collection of 9 cult classics, presented in a sturdy, and very smart looking plastic casing. Good transfers of all the movies, each with a disc of it's own. All have that innocent charm of B Movie Sci-Fi & Horror from a bygone age, all deserving of this collectors edition treatment. Excellent, insane collection beautifully presented and not to be missed. Essential.

WARNING!!!!!! It clearly staes SUBTITLES here on the Amazon site. There are NO SUBS even on DR CYCLOPS od DEADLY MANTIS both of which I have on separate package and DO have subs. This is misleading info and its a shame because the films are an interesting bunch. Not classics but worth watching if you like SCIFI B movies. As far as I have seen, the picture/ratio is good as is the sound, and there are trailers, but...my wife needs subs, so for us this is a no go. LATER!!.... With my wife on headphones (works a treat if HOH) I have ploughed my way through the films herein. First I will say that I was wron in that THE BEAST WITH A MILLION EYES DOES HAVE SUBTITLES! Sadly it also very boring and the "Beast"...wel a kid of 10 could have done better. It's moody though and could have been worse. That honour applies to TIME TRAVELLERS, ANGRY RED PLANET and Reptilicus. My favourite was THE MAN FROM PLANET X a real cheapo, but directoe Ulmer makes the best of what he is given and produces another moody atmospheric SciFi with lots of mist and studio sets and Margaret Field who brings a radience to an ordinary role. The "Alien" is good too. Not a classic, but for me the best of this rather sad bunch. Even THE BLOB is now very dated. The set is still VFM and all the films are very watchable quality, just a shame about the lack of Subs. 4 stars for quality and 9 films - bound to be 3 or 4 the hardcore fan will like!
