I'm a beginner and I really like these brushes for painting with watercolour.I use the large one for putting down water for the wet on wet technique.I have used the smallest to do leaves (see photo). I love these brushes, always spring back and hold a lot of water/ paint.

The bristles are soft and full/fluffy, which also absorbs a huge amount of water (and paint mixture). One dip in paint and water mixture (or just one of either), holds enough to create the leaves in the image.The shape and pointy tip does not change! It stays nice and sharp which is absolutely a must!The handle is comfortable to hold. The wire is my only issue. When I use a tissue to wipe the excess mixture or water, it snags a little but I use face cloths/flannels instead now, so that doesn't happen.I am considering buying the full set as I believe it is definitely worth buying, whether you're a beginner or pro.

These brushes are great. I have been using them with watercolour paints and they are really easy to paint with.

I love them … I’m a beginner watercolour painter and I have struggled with watercolour brushes and paint and paper… I have now found the perfect paper the best paint for me and now seem to have found the perfect brushes I have better control better water hold better paint hold and can do loose or tight watercolour painting betterDo 8 have a way to go yes but I love the brushes they are comfortable to h9ld to use and to achieve the results I try or hope for

Surprisingly good

I was happily surprised! These brushes are very very good! They hold a lot of water, seem to keep their point, and feel good in the hand. I have had no shedding, so far. They are my new favorite watercolor brushes. For the price, I feel that they are a smart choice.

I use the two smallest the most because I do a lot of small floral paintings with tiny details. These brushes hold a lot of paint and I can often paint all the greenery for one in flower without adding more paint to the brush. I did have to trim the second-smallest brush once because a hair (or two?) started to pull away but wasn't loose enough to pull out. I was very careful with trimming and it worked out well - I have not had any loose hairs ever since. My only concern is the plastic wrap covering the base of the brushes: I wonder if paint will build up in there (the area where the ferule is usually found) and there is no way that I can detect to clean under the plastic without damaging the area where the wires anchor the brush bristles. These brushes are unusual so it would be nice if they came with directions and/or a FAQ sheet.

Ich bin sehr begeistert vom Pinsel Set.Gute Verarbeitung und es malt sich mit Aquarell Tusche sehr 👍 gut. Nehmen gut Wasser auf.Lassen sich leicht reinigen im Liegen trocken dann hat man lange Freude mit den Pinseln.
