The Download speeds are high.
I will say I was shocked by the performance of this modem. I was using a Cudy (That I was content with) and getting downloads of 49 MBPS and uploads of 24 MBPS. Which I thought was good. Then my ISP sent me this modem to try and see what I thought about it. I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I live in a wooded rural area, and this modem is giving me between 225 MBPS to 270 MBPS, it's shockingly fast. I am a little sad by the upload speed which has fallen from the 24 MBPS to just 12 MBPS, I've not found a way to increase my upload speed yet but I'm working on it. Over all I'm very happy with this product and I will be keeping it.

amazing router
Instructions are almost non-existent. They tell you to scan a small setup sheet for full instructions and it just takes you to their site with the same very small info setup sheet. I had a question regarding the product and called their 'tech' support. Question was extremely simple question"Can I use this router as a normal router and plug it into my modem so it can broadcast my modems connection instead of using a sim card?"Their tech support asked me about repeaters and many other things. clearly not knowing. So he said he can send the question higher up and open a ticket. Being such an easy question having such an easy answer I asked if there was any way he can simply find out. He put me on hold for 10-15 minutes. He checked with a senior tech support advisor who said no. I asked if he was absolutely certain and he said yes he was certain as this is only meant to work using a sim card.Luckily I put my xfinity gateway into bridge mode and plugged the ethernet cable in and the ethernet out (its only mentioned as being an outlet for ethernet in the very very short setup guide included) actually also works as an ethernet IN. So it connected just fine and is now working as my router.Setup is easy, easy to change the router settings like dns servers etc. Great signal, and even has a battery so if you don't have electricity it'll work (given you have cellular data on a sim you install). This is a great router with horrible tech support (incorrect also, might I add). A bit on the pricey side, but it does offer some solid pros

It'd be great if it could find a signal.
I had high hopes for this Cellular router. Like every other similar device I've tested, this gets little to no signal in my area. Even when there are barely 2 bars for a brief moment I could not activate the sim it came with or any other sim for that matter. It's better suited for a more metropolitan area or one where there are more cel towers. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this for people in mountainous or heavily wooded areas. It's not completely a fault for the company/manufacturer, but I have to dock 2 stars due to the statement in marketing about this working in Rural areas since this is not exactly true.

Solid way to leverage cellular internet at home
With cellular internet speeds now rivaling (if not sometimes outright faster than) home internet speeds, using 5G cellular internet at home is now finally a viable option. But in order to do that, you need a specialized cellular gateway which some cellular companies are happy to sell / lease to you. Or you can get your own - just like this one which combines a high end cellular internet gateway with a solid WiFi router to create a strong single box device.First off, this gateway is designed to work on the Verizon network (I suppose it could also work on one of the pre-paid networks that leverage the Verizon towers and spectrum, but I didn’t test that). You simply work with Verizon towers get a SIM card added to your account with whatever data plan you want and then load it into this device following the instructions - it’s really quite easy to set up and get going. Then you can set up the wireless router functions as you like - creating your network name, password, etc. The 5G connection is fast (though that will depend on where you live of course) and the WiFi router is actually solid as well (often in these combined devices, the router is thrown in as an after thought, but not here) with good speeds and reliable stability. And that’s a thought that I kept coming back to as I was testing out this unit - that it’s just well-made, well-thought out and overall solid / reliable.Given the availability of reasonably priced fiber internet in my area, I’m planning to use this unit as a backup internet connection - that way if my primary fails, I’m still online and able to work. In this setup, I don’t need to have a large, data heavy plan but your experience will vary with your use case.So if you’re in the market for a solid, highly functional cellular gateway that can also serve as a router, this is the device for you. Give it a try today!

Pricey, but works great with Verizon
As you see in my pictures, this router is smaller than my palm and easy to install. Remember, only works on Verizon not any other providers. I got this because I needed to use it as a Hotspot in Istanbul and works great. First of all, it has very great speed like wifi6. Second, signal coverage is super strength specifically I used it in another country, but still was same as in USA. Highly recommended.
