Used a little peanut butter (as per previous reviews) and caught a mouse the first night using the trap and a second the next night. Really easy to set up and are working really well!

Easy to use

I live in an old house, and mice get in - I hate to kill them, I've tried everything else, but infestations are intolerable. These traps - which arrived in record time - are efficient, and quickly deadly. They've already dealt with the problem: if God turns out to be a mouse, both the makers and I are in real trouble, but nibbled wires cause fires, food gets spoiled, they make enough noise to ruin your night's sleep. So I was grateful for the quick delivery, and the effectiveness of these traps. Sorry, mice, but there it is.

Not easy to set as the catch is very small and easy dislodged - be careful when setting as the rebound spring its very strong. The plus side is once it is set it is very effective in despatching mice.Be careful when putting the trap in place as it is easily set off - a plus if it remains set

I read some where that in America there are well over 2500 patents applied for mouse traps each year.That means there are a lot of alternatives outthere.Ignore the glue traps, humane catchers and electronic traps these simple devices are tried and trusted.You bait the trap, set the device and place it down and simply dispose of the dead mice and repeat.At a really low price you get six of these highly effective Aopaeoie Mouse Traps.The traps simply kill the mice quickly which is the best way to kill.The best bait is Peanut butter, the cheaper the better, no point in spoiling the little critters.A tiny 'mouse sized' portion is just required.A few tips are to place the traps where you see evidence of mice. Mice will always run around rooms at the wall's edge, so place them on the runs check regularly depose the bodies and reset. Where you have one mouse you will more often than not have many more.That is where these traps are superior to poison. If you put poisondown the mice take the bait and go to an inaccessible place die and rot. The resultant smell and flies is not a pleasant result.Much better to confirm the kill and dispose of the bodies.These traps work and work well.Recommended.

These traps made me wonder when I first set eyes on them. They didn't look as if they could get the job done efficiently, but I am very happy to say I was wrong.The first night we set three, two dead mice..one missing trap. Unfortunately trap number three had been carried off a fair distance by a mouse which had not been caught by the head/neck area. It was dead when we found it, but it did disturb me that it had not been at least stunned and had managed to crawl away carrying the trap with it (it had been caught around the back rather than by head/neck area). However this could have been because the trap had been moved before the mouse was caught, and is not a trap issue but probably a positioning issue. Moving forward we placed something behind the traps to prevent the mice pushing them away from the wall, snuffling around them, and they have continued to do their job quickly and efficiently.To sum up, they are as humane as killing an animal can be, there has been no mess, blood, or broken skin, much to my relief, as I have bad memories of the old Nipper type traps from years ago, that often seemed to sever things and leave blood and mess behind.I would definitely recommend these traps if you find yourself in need of them. But DO follow the instructions carefully, as they are not just there for convenience but to ensure a quick, clean kill, and if the traps are on a surface where they can be easily pushed by the mice, then something behind them to prevent them being moved does help. I like the idea of the little feeding dish inside which allows food to be placed in a position where the rodent has to reach in to get it, instead of being able to pull it away and getting caught by the nose.Thank you to the seller/manufacturer for making this unpleasant task less of a nightmare for me.
