this tea is an acquired taste. I had had it before so I knew what to expect and I really like it. it is made from tea leaves that have been dried over real wooden fires, which gives it an overwhelming type of forest fire flavor. My wife can’t stand it when I make it, but it really is a very good tea if you are adventurous, give it a shot!

I was looking for a substitute since Twinings discontinued their lapsang, but I think this brand is even better. I also like the quantity of bags compared to the standard commercial boxes of tea bags.

This tea appeared to be of good quality, but the smokiness was too much for me. Like drinking a cup of wood smoke.

Can not use as it may be tampered with. Item was not returnable so my money was wasted.

Gteat tea! Amazing soft, smooth and mild Smokey flavor. The amount you get for the price is incredible. Definitely worth a try

I've always wanted to try some Lapsang Souchong because of the Colin Hay song. So, I'm glad I got the opportunity. It's certainly a different tasting tea than I'm used to. It's very smokey. It's almost like a bonfire really. But I like finding new tastes, so I'm glad I gave it a shot.

This was the weakest, most flavorless, Lapsang Souchong I've ever had. Other reviewers I suspect have never actually HAD good Lapsang Souchong. You can barely smell this or taste the smokiness. Definitely passing next time. It's not my cup of tea ;)
