Works as advertised
I'm starting to get much more serious about riding my e-bike, so the I want to be safe and lock it up when I run into the grocery store for an item or two. I have a standard bike lock with chain, but not all locations have a convenient place to tie up the chain to. The ONVIAN Rechargeable Motorcycle Lock solves that problem, and in addition provides a lock cable for helmets and other awkward items.I have never seen a brake lock before, so I was curious how it works. It turns out that it works quite well. The lock is a sort of "C" clamp, with a bar that extends between the forks of the clamp, through holes in the disc brake. Genius! The tire will only rotate to the point where the lock encounters the wheel, then it stops. Additionally, the lock can be set to alarm LOUDLY on any vibration. It's also a great way to call your wife into the garage when you need a diet coke. The one issue I have with the lock has to do with recharging it. The USB-C cover is almost impossible to get off, and once the charging cord is inserted, there is no indication that charging is taking place, or that the lock is fully charged. There is no information in the manual (hah! User sheet, more like) about charging, so basically you're on your own.I find the ONVIAN lock to be a nice alternative for the normal bike locks. It's light and easy to transport, it is robustly made, and it has excellent features to help deter anyone who might otherwise be interested in adding your bike to their collection. Recommended.

The included cable is my favorite part
I had a different disc break lock (no alarm) previous to getting this alarm lock. At first I just used the included cable with that lock, to both lock my helmet and to warn others that there’s a break lock present. My fear with break locks is that someone tries to move the bike not noticing the lock and does damage. The bright cable helps draw attention to the lock (also to help you to not forget!). The alarm lock functions as advertised. The beeps for locking the unit are rather loud, so as long as you don’t need to lock in a quiet residential area you’ll be fine. Alarm is pretty loud and the pre-warning is nice, though it doesn’t really feel like warning as it’s the same beep style as the lock tone, rather than a short chirp of the alarm tone. Time will tell on battery life; There’s no charge indicator as far as I can see. I used a USB meter and it draws around 5W to charge and i could see the wattage drop to zero to know it was done (around an hour on whatever charge it was shipped with).

Good bike lock
Very convenient bike lock and I use it on my motorcycle. I love that it’s rechargeable and the charge lasts a pretty long time. Alarm is pretty audible and loud and I love the color of the cable so thieves will see you have a lock and hopefully that deters them. I use the cable to tie my helmet and just leave it on my bike. Good stuff

Good motorcycle lock
This is a good, functional motorcycle lock that works as advertised. It feels heavy enough that it would prevent a bad thief from being able to remove it but someone who is experienced and knows what they are doing could probably cut it off. The siren is pretty loud and is pretty sensitive (almost too sensitive). I recommend this lock as a theft deterrent but do not count on it to be 100% effective--but it is definitely better than nothing at all.
