Mars16 Blade Coat King Rake

Been debating this purchase as wasn’t sure if it would be to harsh on our vizslas coats but it’s been very good just allowing the right amount of coat removal and has a good comfortable handle great removal ofCoat leaving a good looking finish

Absolutely brilliant! I followed the advice that if you have border terriers, you need one of these. One of mine has a very thick, unruly coat that is back no sooner than you’ve had it stripped. As a result I’ve started doing it myself as it’s expensive to get it done and it always takes the groomer a long time as her cost is so thick. I’ve been using the mars stripping knife which is brilliant, and yesterday I used the coat king for the first time. Within an hour I have a very smart border terrier (as opposed to 3+ hours). My male who has a soft, fluffy coat as his undercoat never really grew also yields great results, though it is a bit pully on his soft coat so I have to go slowly.

I purchased this particular stripping tool based on previous good reviews which suggested that spending the few extra pounds compared with other, slightly cheaper, alternatives, would be money well spent. Having now used it on our border terrier cross, I absolutely agree. It arrived promptly, ahead of the anticipated date, using standard delivery. As soon as I used it on our dog, I couldn't believe the excellent results. At nearly 4 years old, he had previously only been professionally hand stripped every 6 months. I decided to purchase this to help maintain his grooming between these. Having seen the result from just 20 mins of grooming, I don't think he'll need to be professionally stripped again (a saving of at least £80 a year).

I have always had my Border Terrier hand stripped , but the weather has been so hot and his coat was not long enough or ready to be stripped. So I bought this comb after reading the other reviews. It came yesterday , great service by the way , and I started straight away. I did half of the dog yesterday and the rest this morning and he look fab. My neighbor who has a pet shop said he looks like he has been hand stripped . The dog is so much happier with all the old coat out. I will be able to keep his coat short and tidy all by myself now. A hand strip where I live is 42 pounds , so this has saved me money already. Don't delay buy one today.

This comb is very well made quality item. I have a BorderX and Jack Russell and they love being groomed with this King Rake.It's very easy to get a a bit enthusiastic and strip the coat, so be careful not to overdue it. My dogs are not X's so Im not hung up on the aesthetics about his breeds should look like. I just want thm to be comfortable in the summer. Would definitely recommend! ⭐️
