I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of the cinch and cutting tools in this kit. Both work excellent. The included assortment of stainless steel PEX clamp rings are also excellent quality. This tool was a game changer for me. It's SO much easier to use than the bulky PEX crimper I have, and it's so much more versatile because it fits in tighter spaces. I'm done using my old PEX crimper, and I will only be using this cinch tool from now on. It is a great value, and it's comes in a nice quality case. If needed, it's simple to remove a cinch ring, and the cinch rings are so much easier to place on the tubing without accidentally moving them out of position compared to a PEX crimper. The connections are every bit as reliable, if not moreso, because the cinch rings are stainless steel as opposed to copper.

Been using this since May 2024 and it’s become my go-to for clamp rings. One-handed operation is smooth, the ratchet’s tight, and it doesn't feel like it's going to explode in your hand mid-squeeze like some of the cheapos out there. I’ve run 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" clamps with it—no hiccups, no slippage, no drama. It comes with a gauge to check your crimps, which is handy if you’re training up greenhorns or just want to CYA on inspection day. Calibration held after a couple dozen jobs, no tweak needed yet. And yes—it actually cinches one-handed, unlike some "one-handed" tools that need a bench vise and prayer. If you’re running PEX on the regular and don’t want to waste time recalibrating junk, this is a solid investment. Toss it in your pouch or keep it in the van—it earns its spot either way.

The pipe cutter and the crimp tool are good. The pipe cutter did get a bit dull after my first DIY project. But it was able to cut 3/4 and 1/2 pex pipe with relative ease. The crimp tool did a great job and did not have any leaks. The crimps that came with the tool are not good. They are very thin and compared to other crimp that I have bought from Amazon, they were very light and the steel felt poor quality. I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I feel that if the crimp tool handle length was a bit longer, it would be easier to make the crimp connection. ABut since the crimp tool and the pipe cutter came with a storage box, I bumped it up to 4 stars. The size does make it easier to work in tight corners and keep a firm grip on the handle.

We live in a Clayton home and the cheap plastic shut-off valves have started to fail. This tool is a must to work on PEX pipes. It fits in the hand well and feels pretty stout. Crimps like it is supposed to and has an adjustment to tighten or loosen the crimp space. It comes with enough clamps to get you started on repairs. Also comes with a go nogo gauge. The pipe cutter was just an freebie for me cause I have 2 plastic ones that I have never broke and this one is metal handled so I see no weaknesses in it.

I used it to cut and insert a water shutoff valve to the toilet in my RV, worked perfectly. This tool kit is very handy to have when traveling in an RV and can address leaks etc when in middle of nowhere.

I’ve used this for small around the house projects, and it does not disappoint. I bought this as it was far cheaper than what’s available in the big box stores near me. It was a gamble that more than paid off. Seems like a quality set that’s very easy to use. Great storage case too!

Looks good comes in a really nice plastic case. Just a learning curve you have to practice on some scrap pipe to figure this tool out. i used pex to practise. i really like it.

Purchased this tool when I ran into a tight situation installing PEX water lines. I have previously used PEX copper rings for installation, whereas this tool works with the stainless steel version. While the SS rings are more expensive, I can't see myself ever going back to the copper style....ever. The ratcheting function makes these so easy to use with one hand in any situation. Changing from mode 1 to 2 is awkward (install & removal) and I did find them pricey, otherwise I would have given them a 5 star

Works well and makes it very easy to diy some plumbing. I used it to run ½ pex to a ice machine and no leaks. Highly recommend for quality vs price.

cheap alternative for home user, wouldn't recommend commercial but helped me modify 4 bathrooms and everything is holding up.
