This is a great combination of products for the price. The grip case is super malleable and not rigid like other Ally grips out there, but once you put it on there’s practically no wiggle room, and it makes holding the Ally over long periods of time much more comfortable. It doesn’t obstruct any ports or any exhaust fans. The carrying case is also excellent - I love the minimalist look it has, and it fits the Ally with the grip case nicely. All in all, I’m very happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to improve the ergonomics of their Ally.

After owning the official carrying case from Asus and left wanting on the quality on offer for the cost, I decided to look into alternatives. I’ll keep this short. This is the case to buy if you’re looking for a grip and carrying case combo. The actual grip case fits *perfectly*. All of the ports and vents are unobstructed, and the feel in the hands is remarkably improved due to the added depth afforded by the case. As a bonus, it stands vertically on its own without a need for an additional kickstand or dock. It fits on the device just snugly enough without being at all difficult to put on, and allows for a one handed grip without slipping off the sides. The carrying case is of equally high quality, with a hard shell exterior and soft felt liner. The zipper feels as though it’s made to last and aesthetically it’s very nicely understated unlike the ROG case. For the money spent, I have less than zero complaints. This is the standard to which all other cases should be held to.

This is a great grip and case combo for the ROG Ally X. Case fits great and offers great protection. Grip feels great and better in hands than the Ally alone while also adding a little protection.

Really great for the price. Its sleek and nice. Felt durable and sturdy that will provide good protection. The feel of the case also seems like very good quality as far as the material. Would highly recommend. And would buy again in a different color if available!

OEM like fitment and quality. I was looking for a grip case that didn’t cover the whole console and found this. Just as other reviews mentioned this is a very premium grip and hard shell case. The already easy to hold console feels even nicer now (textured grip on the back) making it feel more like a Xbox or Switch Pro controller. The ease of accessibility when pressing buttons or connecting the USB-C cable from my docking station to console isn’t affected by the case. One of my favorite parts is the simple, tasteful design of this company’s name and logo placement on the product. Well done Skull and Co!

The stand feature is perfect, much sturdier than it looks 100%. Everything fits perfectly even with screen protector. If I had another Ally, this would be the accessories I'd use all over again. Quite perfect

Really good quality, love that it comes with a cloth wipe too. Holding strap could have been a little better quality or with better grip but that is very minor.

Solid case and shell combo. The shell is rugged and easy to install and uninstall. I was a little concerned with how “soft” the top portion of it was thinking it may come off at first but it stays on the ally really well. I love the functionality of the shell too. It acts as its own stand! The case is a great size to add it to a small daily backpack. I originally had the tomtoc over the shoulder carrying bag and still love it but sometimes I don’t want to carry so many bags with me. This case has one of the smallest footprints while still providing good wall thickness to protect the device while in your bag or backpack. Zippers feel great when opening and shutting the case. Inside material is great for keeping your ally clean and safe. Overall great value for the price.

Absolute quality! Guys, I had expectations, but this bundle surpassed them. Everything in the bundle was so high quality. The hard case is great with a smooth, furry and velvet-like interior. It comes with a mesh pouch (nice micro-fiber cloth inside) attached to a stretch band with Velcro that wraps around the bottom of the Ally and attaches to the pouch for some support. The black stealth and grippy protective cover slips on the Ally effortlessly and feels so good. It's lightweight and the mold for your hand grip is so nice. It's got all the openings for the fans and power ports and you can easily use the fingerprint reader. If you're like me, you might have thought a stand came with it. Nope. The stand is a part of the molding of the case. Brilliant! No stand to pull out from the back or have to disconnect. Just grab the Ally and set down upright and it sits up. The angle is perfect for viewing YouTube etc and makes it superb viewing while using an external controller like Xbox or PlayStation. Whoever at Skull &Co. conceived the look, quality and functionality of this bundle is a genius! No. I was not paid to write this haha. I just live when I buy a product that exceeds my expectations. And the price for all you get is a downright steal. This is truly a no-brainer guys. Well done Skull guys! P.s. I love the little Skull heads on the zipperrs too!
