Great for quick fixes
Very easy to use, and great for quick fixes that are too small for setting up big machine, or for using in place, such as curtain hems. It wasn't so happy on thicker fabrics, such as velcro but that is only a small downside compare to it's benefits.

I have had this since July. Used it 3 times and now it is defective and doesn't work.

It does sew. But I found it difficult to operate and keep the material straight. Maybe a standard sewing machine is better.
