All you need to setup your smart home
This is perfect to setup automations with Alexa or Google home. It’s super easy to setup and it works great! I’ve had no issues with any of my units and their build quality seems superb. They have a button on the side to manually power them on and off and they also show a little light when they are on which is thoughtful design in case you need to troubleshoot. I have lamps connected to them and use Alexa to turn them on and off by command. You can set them up to power by timer as well. Make sure you set them all up to the same WiFi network you have your Alexa/Google to prevent any issues when you are setting them up. My only problem is I need more to automate more things!

It just works.
I've come to appreciate IoT devices that are as friction free as possible, and like every Linkind device I own, these fit that criteria. Apple Home recognizes them right away, and the setup was a breeze, as each hooked right up to my 2.4 GHz router I have set aside specifically for IoT devices. They work exactly when told, exactly as they're told (you'd think that there's no real way to mess up a simple binary toggle, but you'd be surprise.) They're small enough to set two side by side or top to bottom, they're well-made and don't feel cheap or flimsy or like they'll fall apart in the socket. The only thing I'd like is if I could turn off the status indicator LED as that little thing is BRIGHT, which is not great for a dark room at night. But a piece of electrical tape placed strategically fixes that for most such LEDs.

Not great for connecting to multiple devices
We purchased these for our Christmas decorations. They work well and were easy to set up. My only complaint is we haven’t been able to connect these to two different devices. I am only able to have them on my phone. My husband cannot add them as well…

Simple to setup and use
I needed something to turn the Christmas tree on and off. Packaging was a simple 4 pack of outlets. I scanned the first outlet's 2d barcode using the Home app on my phone. Plugged the smart plug into an outlet and within a few seconds Home connected to the outlet. Response time is near instant and acts just like a light switch. I am using them only indoors so I am not sure the outdoor rating. Since setting up the tree I have have add the others to garland and a lamp. Size wise they are about the same as the old fashioned 3 plug adapters.

Game changer!
Absolutely love these! Very easy to use and set up. I like that there’s a manual button on the plug but also can be controlled with a phone. These work perfectly with my HomePod. Will definitely be buying more

Easy to pair. Great price. Works as they should!
I held off reviewing these as I was not sure if I was going to keep them.... I am and will also be adding more. I have revamped my home automation as some of my devices are going to be worthless in a few weeks as they are ending all services...so I wanted to make sure I bought something that was Zwave, ZigBee, or Matter... they have to be able to communicate and process locally...no reaching out to a remote server...I am done with that. I priced out a few options and decided to try the Linkind smart plugs. I use these with a Hubitat C8 Pro hub and they all paired quickly and easily with the QR code. I have now been using some of them daily . So far they have remained connected, followed commands as they should, are quick to respond, and overall work how I want them to work. I never had to use the Linkind app to get them to pair, that is what Matter is all about. Definitely would recommend.

Same box, different name. All the same.
Smart home tech is a double edged sword. It’s a clunky, mixed ecosystem of 3rd party vendors and sketchy firmware that you pray “just works”. When it “just works” it’s seamless, amazing and truly futuristic. When it doesn’t, it’s a nightmare of WiFi-hopping, frustrating failures with no real error logs or troubleshooting beyond ‘try again later’. Half of these boxes seem to work in half my outlets in half the rooms. Shuffle them and they MIGHT work, only if they’re feeling cooperative. They crap out twice a week and power cycle until they reconnect with no rhyme, reason or pattern. When they work it’s incredible and effortless, the 4/10 times these stupid things pair properly. These Matter plugs aren’t more or less reliable than any other brand out there. The problem is that the smarthome ecosystem sucks as a whole. You know what I miss? Manual light switches.
