Upgrade your small trash cans from Walmart/Target plastic shopping bags to these! We’ve all done it… these are much better and fit those small trash cans perfectly! They are strong and you don’t have to worry about if there is a hole or anything in them. They won’t leak, they won’t spill. I am not using these for compost, but I appreciate the fact that they are biodegradable. Less plastic polluting our planet is a win for everyone. I also use these to scoop cat litter and they are wonderful for that! Even with a lot of scooping, they are strong and hold the weight of clumped litter very well! I am very happy I found these and will continue to get bags like these.

I use these for my countertop bin before taking things out to the compost outside. Sure, things are a bit more contained before they finally break down in compost, but the way I compost is a little different to most. I break things down completely and feed it to nature, rather than use it for gardening.These bags break down with the acidity, so if you've put coffee grounds in or tomato, you've got a short time to change the bag. If you're putting in egg shells you have much more time. They also get more fragile as time goes on with the acidity, so you can get leaks if you wait a week to take out your coffee grounds bag. This is not a fault in the product, it is how they work.

These are strong sturdy bags that I have been using for cat litter. They hold the weight without ripping.

I try to rip the bag. I can still rip it with enough force but I can't tear it by a gentle touch. It's good enough for low volume of sauce although I would double it as an extra caution. This bag is great to keep bad odor away overnight.This bag is free of powder. It's great that it doesn't make a mess when I need to use and rip one from the roll.
