I Ordered this book for my class and it is one I can see myself referring to frequently throughout my teaching career.

This book was easy to read, I finished it in two sittings. It provides a lot of good information about truly observing a classroom's culture.

I don't like it when books are advertised as "brand new", then arrive with broken spines, bent pages and erased pencilings. That means "used".

Needed for a class

This is a helpful guide on how to observe the "culture" of a classroom and write an ethnography. The author helps the reader become aware of how to put aside their own perspectives and see the implicit rules and structures that a teacher creates in his or her classroom.
