Really pleased, wish I got one ages ago
I've had this for a few days now and have been using it non stop. Prior to this I used a Chromecast but I was getting a lot of lag and buffering casting so I wanted to try something different. I had an android box when they first came out and found it too much hassle to setup and maintain so was a bit dubious. I'm happy to say I'm thrilled with this little box, it doesn't have any of the issues my old one had. It's quick to start up and doesn't experience any app lag at all. The interface is nice and it comes with a version of kodi installed, although you will have to work out how to get add ons and which ones you want on your own (to be expected). A quick Google will help you outand once you get things setup it streams very well. I don't have a 4k TV but my 1080p streams are fantastic. I've added a few apps, Spotify, YouTube, twitch etc. And they all work perfectly. Still tinkering and adding various add ons and apps but I'm so glad I made the swap as there is a huge difference in quality for me. It's got a couple of USB ports so you can plug a mouse and keyboard in if you want or a USB controller for playing games. I used a mouse during my initial setup to make things easier but now I just use the remote since its more or less setup how I want. Also worth mentioning it comes with Google play as some don't. If you're thinking about it I'd say go for it but keep in mind you will need to do some setting up yourself, you can't just whip this out of the box and throw on the football, but it's not hard to find info online about how to set these things up.

Meh
Has a really basic interface, the mouse option on the remote is quite slow, I suggest you buy a small keyboard for it even because, when you are looking for something in particular, going around with only the remote to write every single letter, is a pain. It came well packaged and it does the job if you are planning to use for streaming movies and stuff. But personally, it miss something that makes you appreciate it.

Great way for cheap IPTV
Need to plug in an external mouse or keyboard but otherwise works well providing IPTV for my elderly mother-in-law.

The best zero-hassle TV Box ever
Absolutely superb. Plugged straight in, recognised external HDD, connected to WiFi network, all without any hassle whatsoever. Would highly recommend! Only *slight* issue (and this is me nitpicking) is that the power cable is a little short - but that's me trying to find something to recommend as an improvement! As other users have suggested, a remote keyboard and mouse are recommended if you're going to use this as an internet browser / for Youtube etc etc - but as far I'm concerned this does the basics, and does them perfectly well.

Loads of functionality and apps - just fiddly to type
Having been using this for a few weeks now, functionality is great. We can watch YouTube and browse the internet on our TV with it. However biggest gripe is typing stuff in with the remote. It is so slow and takes ages with the fiddly remote. I’ve seen some mini keyboards that link up with a USB dongle which I think I’m going to buy to go with it.

Not working anymore
It was great for 6 weeks and now it’s not connecting to the internet and not working at all so no I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

Not as Expected
This unit was 2014 with 2016 Android software. Would not update, would not allow download and install of anything but subscription channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the rest. Its no1 failing was it would not install and run Plex Media Player or any other software to allow streaming my own archive which is what I needed it for. Returned and bought a used Sony PS3 for the same price. TBO I could have fixed it but why bother, if I wanted to do something like that I woulkd have built my own RPi media server in the first place. This item promised much but delivered virtually nothing of interest to me, far too limited by its O/S.

Good for the price
Picture quality depends on your internet speed and what ever your streaming, the box has been very good so far. I payed £30.00 for it.
