Came soft and ready to glue in wet area (shower in boat)
Worked as advertisedI have received flex glue that was unusable as it was hardened. This was good to go!Fresh and soft and sticky and waterproof. It only lasts a couple years in the sunBut I just do it over every few years.Pretty good if you need it to stick in not perfectly dry or clean conditions.Pretty much worked for me.I use it to keep water out of seams or joints etc

Flex Seal
The product definitely did what it was suppose to. I wanted to repair a pair of golf shoes where the soles separated from the shoe. I have tried other products to repair them to no avail. This glue worked like magic. I was a little disappointed because this tube of adhesive is different from the others. I did not realize that you must remove the dispenser prior to use and cut the end of the tube. When I tried to use the product, the glue started to come out of the seams of the tube therefore I wasted some of it. I think the company should warn the consumer that you must cut the cap at the end of the tube for it to work properly. My fault for not reading the instructions but I assumed it worked like the other manufacturers with similar products. Ease of use not the best but the product performed beautifully.

Works underwater - my main issue
I have a pool lined with one inch square ceramic tiles that line it on all sides and the bottom. Over time some tiles on the side thats gets the most sun fall off due to vacuuming, settling or possibly really hot sun on the tiles and then cold that makes the tiles expand. Be that as it may, I've used at least a half dozen products to re glue the tiles. Few work well, if at all, none underwater and few can take the effects of the elements. I bought Flex Flue (the 6 fl. oz tube) as a last resort and have used it on the sides of the pool as well as underwater (obviously this is tricky to apply and you probably need somebody to hold you down!). It's been nearly 5 months and none of the re glued tiles in or out of the water have fallen off. Ive vacuumed (inadvertently) over the ones at the bottom of the pool and they've stayed in place. The product works as advertised and is reasonably easy to apply, though it dries fast and you'd be advised to have the job set up before opening the tube. It is also progressively harder to use as the product becomes harder in the tube so if you have several spaced out jobs you may want to consider getting several tubes, even at the expense of throwing out those half empty. In conclusion, it's the only product i found that gets a water job done.

RATHER DISAPPOINTING I'M SORRY TO SAY
I've purchased this item twice. The first tube arrived broken, leaking and had dried up. Amazon was true to their policy and quickly replaced it. I was happy.A few weeks after receiving the 2nd tube, I glued a wrist rest to my keyboard support. Note: I use an articulating keyboard which extends out from under the desktop. The wrist rest needed to be glued down so it wouldn't constantly fall off.The tube says "super thick formula" and it is. So I squeezed out a generous amount, set the wrist rest on top and pressed it down - it stuck firmly right away and seemed dry enough to use the next morning. I thought "Great!"But a month or so later the wrist rest just popped right off. The glue was dry (of course) and very yellowed, I have no idea why. So I got out the tube, opened it up, discovered it was thicker and stiffer than the first time and very difficult to squeeze out. After the first use, I had carefully followed the directions for sealing it back up, i.e., squeezing out a bead of glue to form a seal, then replacing the cap. There were no leaks, so I don't know why it seemed drier. The tube label says (among other things) that it's "Excellent for: Home & Garden, Automotive & Marine, Plumbing & Electrical, DIY Projects & Hobbies, and so Much More!"The bottom line? I've used other Flex Seal products and been quite satisfied because they worked as promised. This one however, I'm disappointed. But I've glued the wrist rest back on and I'll see how it goes.

Dried out, unusable
I bought this to repair a waterfall; to glue some rocks so it was a one-shot deal once I got everything assembled. I don't know what the shelf life of this stuff is but what was sent would not flow out of the pump gun. After cutting the tip I used a nail to puncture the seal. It would not go through so I used a hammer to drive the nail through the seal. The glue would not flow out of the pump gun. I did finally get a small glop that I picked off with my fingers and stuck to the rock surface. Actually it was so dried up it didn't stick, not to my fingers or the rock. I was committed to the project by then and I had to cut open the side and scoop the glue out with a putty knife and applied. But it was so dried up that I have no idea if it adhered to the surface of the rocks, gravity may be holding them in place. I suspect the merchant had this on their shelf for about 20 years. I think this is a merchant issue and not a product issue, I've read to many good reviews. If you are going to buy any Flex Seal product I encourage you to go to the local hardware.

Flex Glue Clear lives up to the hype!
This glue works just like the ads say/show. I used it to glue a plexiglass window over the window opening of the pickup ARE topper. It never had a window glass. Rather there was a boot between the cab and topper. The boot ha failed ( rusted out) so the. Flex Clue Clear wasthe perfect solution for me. You have to work fast, since the glue begins to set after 10 mins.I reinforced the plexiglass perimeter with 1x2” boards and 1 1/2” stainless screws with lock nut. Along with gluing the plexiglass in place, it also sealed it tight. I’ve been in 3 big rain storms since I completed the project and not a drop of water has gotten in. If there a star number higher than 5, I’d give it that number!
