Sentry Pro® Wireless 4G GSM Auto Dial House Alarm - Solution 2

This was the first alarm I've ever installed and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The instructions are clear to follow. There is quick set up guide and also a detailed manual. I love the text feature and the key fobs are a nice bonus. You can activate/deactivate by key fob, text, phone call or punching in your password on the main unit. If alarm is activated (and also when you activate/deactivate) the text arrives to your phone within about 4 seconds. It also tells you which zone was set off. The only thing is I have a cat, he is about 6kgs, when he's jumping around playing it activates the alarm unfortunately. But I can isolate certain zones so it's not a big issue for me. All the accessories were already linked up with the main panel when it arrived (thanks guys!!). I've already purchased some more accessories like an external strobe alarm so I'll post an update when that arrives to tell you if it's easy enough to link up yourself. Overall very good product indeed!!!

couldn't get it to work at first. Didn't say to put credit on sim card, then had to take sim out and use mobile phone to put credit on, then replace. Works perfectly now. It did go off when we were indoors and it wasn't set, but only the once. The small plastic siren is really loud. Still got a few bits left to fit but instructions aren't easy to follow

Well made ...easy to set up although i had to reprogramme all sensors and pir units but instructions are easy...warning..the siren is mega loud.Everything works as it should...excellent

Really disappointed with this alarm, initially worked fine, no changes to set up but now triggers off randomly and in different zones, usually front door and zone 13 that are triggered, was away over the weekend and went off 12 times and no issues when we returned

Arrived with all three PIR's & two door contacts linked to the main panel, so no issues setting up. Just screwed the three PIR's to the walls where required & put one of the stick on door contacts on my garage separate from my house by approx. 15 feet & it alarms perfectly. I don't have the call enabled & prefer just a text if alarm activates. I also just use my mobile to alarm/disarm by simply calling the pay as you go sim card in the panel & enter password, then key 1 or 2 arm/disarm. Just be aware to place the control panel in a hall or passage because when the PIR's pick you up even when the system is disarmed it will light up, confirming the panel has received the movement.So that's it, things don't come much simpler. Oh nearly forgot, forget the booklet that comes with the system & just read the two typed A4 sheets in the box.

Was a bit unsure about this alarm but was really happy with it. It's easy to set up and so far 2 weeks on everything is working as it should. I have installed this for my mother in law who is now on her own. There is a panic button on the remote which you can set up separately to dial or text out to designated numbers as you can the intruder alarm. The door contacts also have a panic button which could prove handy. All in all very happy and will be purchasing on for myself. Oh and forgot to mention the remote phone control works a treat, call the sim enter PW and arm/disarm remotely etc

Excellent bit of kit for the money. DO NOT follow the instruction booklet as it is written in the worst pidgin English that I have ever seen. Just follow the instructions on the A4 sheets included in the pack and you cannot go wrong. I am not an Electrician but was able to fit this alarm in under two hours. Just what this alarm can do is amazing for the money. You have to subscribe to a mobile sim operator but its a small price to pay for such a great bit of kit. I am well pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone. Where else would you get 3 motion sensors,2 door contacts and 2 key fobs all set up and ready to go for just over 100 quid !!

The electronics are fine but I the enclosure is flimsy. Manual difficult to make sense as I'm a techie I figured it out but manual makes it look difficult than it is.
