What was old is new again
An appropriate classic for the Trump/Musk era.

A must read book
Whether or not you incorporate these ideals of the book you should still know and be aware of them. But this review is on the product only. It arrived on time and undamaged. It is a smaller sized paperback. The print is clear and legible. I did not see any smudging or missing content. The pages are a bit on the pulpy side so not bright white; the off-white is easier on the eyes I think. Overall it was what I was expecting and I enjoyed rereading it after a number of years.

Still relevant today as it was 500 years ago!
I'm not sure about the folks who say they received a used copy because mine was brand new. I liked the compact paperback format too.

Hard read
Interesting, but I struggled to get through this book because of the broken up way it was written. I’m sure had I looked at the copy I purchased I would have picked a different copy and it would have made reading it easier for myself, that being said…While written in the early 16th century, “The Prince” is a seminal work on the use and abuse of political power. Power is a complex and multifaceted concept that has intrigued scholars and thinkers for centuries. It can be defined as the ability to influence or control the behavior of others, either through force, persuasion, or other means. Perhaps the most important thing is the way Machiavelli can compel us to reflect on our own priorities and the reasoning behind them; it is this intrusion into our own defenses that makes reading his writings an experience.

An excellent assessment of critical thinking for rulers and the rest of us.
Liked everything about the book. It should be included in every 'Psychology 101' course, as the principles still apply today. The author definitely knew what he was talking about. The book arrived in fairly good time, considering the COVID situation.

Radical but necessary
Some of concepts are different than the norm but in a highly political environment it’s survival
