DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
This thing is a piece of garbage. The motor stalls when running a knife through. I did however sharpen a pair of scissors after a bit of fighting to do so!

Works, sort of.
Will this sharpen a knife, Yes. If you know what you are doing. If you have little experience, this is not the sharpener for you. It is fairly inexpensive, but again not very user friendly, the guide is sloppy, setup more for a pair of scissors than a knife. If you just want to have a sharp pair of scissors, this will probably work fine. If you wand a sharp fillet knife, I suggest you find something else.
