Exact match for original factory part
The original part on my 2011 A3 started cracking and breaking apart. Other places wanted me to buy the whole assembly including the fluid reservoir. As far as I can tell, this fill tube is an exact match for the factory part. The only down side was that it was extremely difficult to fit onto the reservoir as the mating part is very stiff.

Did not fit.
Although advertised to fit my vehicle it did not fit, and so it was returned for a refund.

Worked for 2009 VW Eos
In case this helps anyone, this seems to be the right part for my 2009 Eos HOWEVER it is very hard to fit the tube over the protruding pipe on the reservoir that it should slip over. There just isn't enough clearance for me to get it on, and it is a VERY tight fit. I kind of expected this because the old one (which was brittle and broken) was very hard to remove. After trying lots of other remedies, I ended up putting a little bit of GOOP glue on the inside of the new tube, pressed it on (and screwed the upper part into place as should be) then I wrapped the joint many times with waterproof stretch and seal self-fusing silicon tape. I don't know how long that will hold, but I expect it to last just fine since it's just a little flexible and the part shouldn't need to be strong enough for pressure or anything, just leakproof, which I think it is.

Quality replacement
My reservoir is fine but the pipe has cracked and was leaking, so I cannot fill it up to the top of the neck. I got this part instead of replacing the whole set.The end that goes to the reservoir is a little tight. I applied some heat using a lighter to soften the plastic before pushing it in and it worked.Good product and does the job.

To long
Won’t fit probably way to long had to cut it to make it work

Works when modified
Looks like the 2013 VW GTI part except the tube was too long. I strategically cut a section out using a box cutter and was able to insert the flat section of the tubing into the ribbed section and it worked fine. See photo.

Modify to comply with VW recall on 2.5L
The part needs to be modified to comply with a safety recall VW issued in 2010. The recall affects vehicles equipped with the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine and is a potential fire hazard.2007-2009 Golf2007-2009 Jetta2007-2009 Jetta Sportwagen2006-2010 New Beetle2007-2009 RabbitThe recall basically requires to remove a plastic nub on the upper filler portion. I used a pair of cable cutters to trim off the extra plastic nub (see pictures).Additionally I removed the silk screen from the old filler tube and transferred it to new one as its not included. It looks to be a decent quality and fits just like the original part.

This isn't an OEM part... so it doesn't fit.
Like A LOT of the non-OEM parts available for VWs made in China... this doesn't fit. It looks close, it seems like it should work, but it just doesn't fit -- the tolerances are just too low.Buyer beware.
