Very excited to have this book. On a whole, this is a beautifully photographed book. It offers good tips that are helpful for beginners, and easy to follow "recipes" that are suitable for all levels of enthusiasts that still reference these recipes. However, I feel like a lot of the "ingredients" are harder to obtain than some other similarly styled books.As someone who lives in sort of a rural setting, a lot of this is unattainable for me unless I just base the instructions loosely off of what's available to me.And too be honest, there were a few arrangements that just weren't attractive. Almost like the creators were trying a little too hard to be different. This was far and few between though, the majority are gorgeous.I still enjoy this book, it just didn't make it quite as high on my list of favorites as I was hoping for.

Although not a big book, it is wonderfully thick. Presented seasonally, it contains photos of unusual plant arrangements and useful tricks of the trade for preparing and arranging flowers. Many of the plant sources are atypical, utilizing fruits, moss, tree seed pods, mushrooms, pinecones, succulents, evergreens, berries (i.e. holly, bittersweet, pepperberry, callicarpa, etc.), gourds, and tree and woody shrub branches. Arrangements also include a number of non-plant sources, such as rope, feathers, ribbons, string, wire, embroidery floss, and felt. Arrangements include a variety of settings including ordinary and unusual vases, wreaths, bowls of water, bouquets, linear table settings, log slices, mobiles, and wallhangings. I originally bought this book to use in collage, but the book is so beautifully photographed and designed that I have decided to leave it as it is.

Absolutely gorgeous book, very creative ideas there outside the box, made an excellent gift for my friend who is into flower arranging and design. Would highly recommended as a gift or a nice book to display on the coffee table.

Precioso. Composiciones modernitas, de tendencias naturales y con mucho gusto. Además viene el paso a paso en fotos, que es lo que iba buscando y lo que deberían enseñar este tipo de libros y no abundan.Sí se animarán a traducirlo a más idiomas se vendería más, aún así es tan visual que nadie debería pensarse el comprarlo o no.

Sadly, this book is not worth it. I found it lazy. They do NOT offer alternative produce for the recipes which would make creation designs more useable. Not adding in the Latin names takes no effort yet they couldn't be bothered. There is no depth in the information and I found the arrangements simple-minded. Too bad! I recommend not even bothering (like them) to give it your time. (or money)
