Handy tool
First off I’ve never grafted anything. For being inexperienced the tool worked surprisingly well. I was skeptical from other reviews. The tape was horrible. Buy different tape. There is a slight learning curve to it, but practice on a few pieces you won’t need. Overall I’d buy it again. 4 stars because of the horrible tape.

I was leery, but no need to be
I’ve never used anything like this when grafting. I’m old school, a knife and a little practice is all that’s needed. That said, this looked too good (cool) to pass up, so I had to try. I’ve done several grafts with this on my avocados, peaches, and lemon trees. I’m still amazed at how well it works, how perfectly fit the grafts are, and my success rate is well above 90%. Seems very durable too, not a hint of having to change the blade. At sub $20, you can’t go wrong.

Beginner Grafter
I am just a beginner grafter, so this tool helped me make the jump into grafting on my apple trees. The tool makes an easy cut, but the fitted pieces can be a little wobbly and the limb cambium layers didn't stay aligned when applying the grafting tape. 2 of 4 grafts have failed so far. I am trying some alternative techniques.

Cool gadget, no instructions
A lot of stuff for the money. However, the lack of instructions on how to swap out the blade is a drawback. I managed to do so, but after securing the shears in the closed position, they popped open breaking the plastic of the latching mechanism. I suspect this is due to the fact that the blade rest must be rotated as well when swapping the blade to accommodate the new blade profile, but for the life of me, I have been unable to loosen the screw that secures the stop in place.
