The greatest.
They’re light, flexible, leave no residue, don’t leak, easy to clean, makes for a very even poach in little time, great value, and they don’t leak! They’re also easy to take out of the pot by grabbing the little wings on the side (so convenient, except if you have a very shallow saucepan you may not be able to fit the lid without flattening the wings down during the poaching process). My mom had them first and I loooove them so I got them for myself. Great investment. Saves so much time in the mornings.

I finally made decent poached eggs it’s a miracle
How in the world could these cups have bad reviews?! I’ve seen many products in my years that deserved them, but how could these have them?! I’ve probably tried a good couple dozen times to make poached eggs and failed also making a huge mess of stringy whites cascading through the water. I finally made delicious and perfect poached eggs-I really can barely believe it! lolI followed directions by filling a pan with around 1 inch of water, brought it to a boil. I sprayed the cups with nonstick spray, broke the eggs in, set the cups in the water and covered the pan. I let the water boil for about 6 minutes and the yolks were just slightly soft. Perfect exactly how I like them with no extra fat. They literally slid out of the cups no problem. I am so happy I got these because I wanted to watch my calorie intake, and this is a delicious way to get protein without needing extra fat or cheese to make it taste better. I find poached eggs to be so satisfying and delicious the way they’re cooked like that. The texture is so perfect! The very strong construction I think these will last forever. They washed up easily and perfectly as well. So glad I got these, highly recommend!

Tried this several times.
Eggs were either greasy from too much oil or they stuck in the cup. Probably will go back to the old way of poaching eggs.

Doesn't work
Unfortunately, I put this in the drawer and didn't use it before the return period was over. The eggs ran out all over the pan and they stuck so I couldn't flip them. I don't think it would have worked even if the eggs didn't stick because of the size of the circle, the eggs couldn't cook enough before flipping.

Making Poached Eggs has never been so easy
‼️ The Item: Mikim Silicone Egg Poacher Cups✅ The Good:➡️ Easy to use with consistent results➡️ Easy to clean➡️ Cook eggs in 5-7 minutes depending on how you like them❌ The Not So Good:➡️ If you use a roiling boil, the bubbles can tip the cups or launch water into the cups and ruin your eggs.➡️ If you put too much water in the pot, it can increase the likelihood of your cups tipping.➡️ The 4 cups didn’t fit in my 2.5 quart pot. If you want to cook 4 eggs at the same time, you’ll probably need to use a bigger pot. Mine would only fit 3 of them at the same time.🎬 Result:➡️ I highly recommend getting these cups if you like making poached eggs with ease with consistent results. Also, they are the perfect size for an English muffin if you want to make breakfast sandwiches.⚠️ Tips:➡️ Fill the pot with an inch of water. (When touching the bottom of the inside of the pot with your index finger, the water will go about as high as the first line)➡️ If you boiled with a high temp, reduce the boil to a simmering boil. For me, I boil at 7 (out of 10) and reduce it to a 4.➡️ Drop the cups into the simmering boil and put a small dab of butter in the cup, a few seconds later use the brush to spread around the cup.➡️ Remove the pot from the burner so the boil settles and then drop your cracked eggs into the cups.➡️ Cooking for 5 minutes leaves the yolk a little runny. At 7 minutes, the yolk is soft but not runny. This will vary for your setup but is a good guideline.➡️ Take the pot off the stove, remove the lid, and let the eggs sit until there isn’t any steam as it can hurt your hands if you try and pull the cups out while it’s still steaming. Or use tongs to grab the cups.

Easy Egg Poaching
I bought these because I love poached eggs, but hate losing so much of the whites to the water when poaching. I tried using silicone cupcake cups, but the ridges made it hard to clean. Even with oil brushed on the egg would stick to the ridges.I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I brushed oil on the cups and placed in boiling water, covered, and cooked for 5 minutes. They were easy to remove from the pot because of the raised edges and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I like a runny yolk and 5 minutes was perfect. I used a large spoon to loosen the eggs from the silicone and they slid right out. I rinsed the cups and placed them in the dishwasher for super easy clean-up.I recommend these egg cups for anyone who love poached eggs.
