Plants are growing!
I've started my spring garden indoors this year and needed some grow lights. I ordered this unit because I like it's size, has full spectrum LED's in 3k-5k, red and the 120w allows for a good coverage at 2.5-3' square. The unit does come with a hanging kit that includes the ratchet rope unit to adjust height easily. I do wish the mounting points on the light were better but I'm comparing overall usefulness of the light for the cost. The dimming control is smooth and can go from 10%-100% for different stages of plant growth. I had another light being used for my seedlings and my plants started getting real leggy. Once I changed to this light and set at 50% in a few days the seedlings are growing thicker stalks and look healthier. I still have a lot of testing to do but so far this light is working great The heat sinks are hefty and do a good job at heat dissipation. This light does have some weight to it at almost 4lbs, comparing to others in the same range. Overall the light is of good quality, the LED's provide a good spectrum of light and best of all, my plants are growing great using this light. It's a good value!

Fantastic grow light
This is a fantastic grow light. I have a house full of the little individual lights for house plants, but this is used for my seedlings. There is plenty of light for a full tray of seedlings underneath. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavy. Make sure you are hanging out from a very solid spot (I've got it hanging on a metal rack set up for the purpose)

Plants love it!
I ordered this light to put on a grow rack with some Plumeria , Adenium and Banana Plants that I am overwintering in the garage and didn’t want to go into dormancy. The light is very bright when turned all the way up but it is adjustable. I have it set at about 80% and the plants are growing nicely. The construction seems very solid for a light in this price range. All aluminum and metal components. Doesn’t get hot at all. The single point hanger that it comes with is pretty useless but there are tabs along the top that I put carabiners on to attach it to my wire shelving unit, works great. Really satisfied with this light and at $45 I’d say it’s well worth the money.

Decent light but could be better
Decent light but there are a few flaws...... 1. As in the picture above even when the knob is switched to "off" the light still emits a low amount of light that's not good for flowering process.2. I bought 2 of the same lights 1 when turned off is brighter then the other light it's glows even while "off".3. The knobs to raise or lower the brightness are backwards on 1 light and is not labeled to tell u what % u have the light on u just have to guess.Other then that it's a nice bright light and I suppose it would grow some nice plants, the lights get pretty hot when running for a while.

Plants Thriving
Shining down on my 15 year old lemon tree, this light provides great coverage and can be dimmed if it's too much light for your plants.

Single Point Hanger Not Good
This seems to be your typical grow light, full spectrum, good heat dissipation with no fan plus a dimmer if your needs require that. I'm sure it will perform it's function well. The cons I have with it are....the hangers converge to a single "ratchet rope" like all these lights come with, but this light only has one (ratchet rope) This allows the light to swing around in circles because it's dangling from just one point. Every other grow light like this I own (I have 5 others) has a duel ratchet rope system. The pennies saved by only giving this light one ratchet rope instead of two really hurt the perceived quality of this light and make it difficult to get the thing to hang like you want it to.Another con is that it came with absolutely no information/directions pamphlet. No info on the box and no info about the specs or how to hang it, etc. Yes using it is pretty straight forward, but all electrical items like this should definitely come with operating specifications at least.OK, I have one more complaint, but it's not specific to this light, I have another brand with this....issue as well. The very first grow lights I got like this have sides all the way around, not very big, only an inch or so, but it makes a big difference. When lights with no sides, like this one, have to be raised above eye level....when you walk in the room it's extremely bright. Those small sides on my other lights work very well to help with this problem, easier on your eyes and directs more light downward on your plants instead of brightly lighting up the whole room.Overall, give it two hangers and it will be pretty much as good as any other grow lamp of this caliber out there.

A lot of light for the buck!
This is a GREAT grow panel! The heat sink works great, it is made of metal, which is spectacular, and the available light spectrum is grand! Even though the spectrum isn't adjustable, it will work just fine for many applications. It came in a sturdy box that can be used for storage when not in use. The 4th picture above shows what it looks like when plugged in but turned off at the switch. There is a tiny trickle feed of energy to the lights to allow for diagnosis of missing bulbs, without being blinded by the lights. It throws off a LOT of light at the highest setting on the switch, and for a small panel, that is wonderful. I intend to use this to start veggie seedlings in the spring and to help keep outdoor plants alive inside during the winter.I would say it is a good value for the money!
