Crescent 10" Locking Adjustable Dual Material Wrench | ACL10VS

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: This product came in just as described. It seems to be a most useful tool made by a company I can trust. All my Adjustable Wrenches are CRESCENT Brand and I've had them for over 30 plus years without a single complaint. This one appears to be made just as nice as all my others. I really appreciate the fact that I can put the wrench onto an object and lock it into place as if I was using Vise Grips. Once on it stays on. The only concern I see people mention is that it's a lot of work if you are in a tight spot and can only turn the wrench a quarter or half turn before needing to remove it and replace it onto the nut again. I agree this product might not be the best tool for that situation. But that's why we have so many different tools available to us. There's not ONE tool that can handle every single job. But this tool can handle most jobs by making it much easier, and without wearing the nut down by slipping off. I was impressed that it arrived from the factory with a nut already locked into it's jaws. If you are someone who had not used Vise Grips on a regular basis, it allows you to actually physically see just how awesome this product is as soon as you open the package. I Recommend. Good Luck.

If you are like me, an adjustable wrench is a last resort. Even the best have a little slop once adjusted or the adjustment migrates during use, forcing one to have to be vigilant during use. This wrench solves all such problems. It cannot slip off a fastener during spirited use and is perfect for holding a fixed shoulder while breaking loose a jam nut. It doesn’t get loose, it has no slop. It is not the best tool for wrenching. Having to release the vice grip handle and relock it to align wrench again is tedious. However, for tough bolts or nuts in areas where slipping off could damage surrounding items or round-over the fastener, there is no better item I have found. Thrilled with this purchase. Highly recommended!

I enjoy the tool as it can lock down tight, but each time you open and close it, it shifts a bit. With that shift, you have to re-adjust which kind of defeats the purpose. Solid built, but it does move

Crescent type wrenches are notoriously loose and can sometimes round off a bolt. This tool eliminates the slipping off because it acts like a pair of vise grips on the bolt. I like it a lot. Have had for over a year now and no problems.

I was amongst the naive who bought an electric-motor-drive wrench, only to find the device ineffectual and annoying. Then it broke. Fair to say I am not keen on gadgets for the sake of gadgets. So what about this one? Well, if you've ever tried doing a job that requires three hands but you only have two, then this is the tool for you. It combines the best of a traditional adjustable wrench with a mole grip. Big advantage, of course, it doesn't fall off the joint the moment you let go! After several months I am fully acclimated to this grip wrench and absolutely love it. You quickly learn how much pressure to apply before engaging the mole grip, and thereafter it is simple to use and no fuss. At least that's been my personal experience on everything from mini-split installation to plumbing. For reference, most of my adjustable wrenches are Klein or Irwin.

Exactly what I needed! Between this and a drain tool (reviewed separately), I was able to remove my old tub drain and insert a "Tub-shroom" (reviewed separately), to keep hair from clogging the drain. As a woman, I didn't have the hand/wrist strength to unscrew the old drain, but this made it easy and painless! Highly recommend!

Found the advertisement on YouTube however I couldn’t find any alternative sold in Singapore. Decided to look it up on google and it brought me here!

ein wirklich sehr gutes werkzeug. bei meinem bisherigen einstellbaren gabelschlüssel hatte ich das problem, dass der schlüssel nicht sehr fest auf der mutter saß. Das führte vorallem bei sehr festsitzenden messingmuttern dazu, dass diese nach mehrmaligen festziehen und wieder lockern langsam abgerundet wurden. diesen schlüssel kann man auf passende größe einstellen und dann mit dem hebel, der nach drücken einrastet, richtig festklemmen. so kann man sogar runde oberflächen relativ fest damit greifen (zb 8mm rundstab zum gewindeschneiden)
